35 degrees this morning, cloudy and very windy for walking.
No deer on the way to town but did see some rabbits.
The sky looked dark and purplish.
Continued walking down the main road back towards home
for a half mile or so and then walked back to town.
Then it was over to the ball park and walked that loop a couple of times.
If the chickens are out I always stop and ask how they are.
Maybe some day they'll answer me.😄
Remember my little friend Kinsley.
I've known her since was was 4 years old.
I saw her today at her bus stop.
She still runs over to me and gives me a hug.
She is 10 years old now and has grown so that
I no longer have to kneel down to
give her a hug.
Only one fisherman at the pond.
He was there when I got there and still there when I left.
☁️ 🙂 🐓
It stayed pretty windy but the sun came out.
Hung my laundry on the line even though it was windy.
For some reason the clothes didn't get all tangled and they dried supper fast.
Worked on the last puzzle a while.
Almost done, but not quite.
Read and knitted after doing a bit of house work.
Reading another good book,
The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon.
It's about a midwife and healer in the late 1700's.
Supper was Chicken Burritos.
Used the chicken from yesterday so it was an easy quick meal.
Hope you had a wonderful Wednesday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Sandi - No, don't read Chatty or Shug's blogs.
Debby - I LOVE my air fryer and use it often. It's a Ninja and it is 4 qts. There are only 2 of us here also and it is a perfect size. Here is a LINK for the air fryer.
GrannyM - I'm in Eastern Standard time zone which is 3 hours ahead of you.

Yet another great day for you. I always talk to my chickens and they now cluck back :)
What a lovely day. Love seeing your pictures and knowing that you had a peaceful and productive day.
What a gorgeous sky.
...what a beautiful way to start your day!
Thanks for the recommendation. My son and his wife has a Cuisinart Air Fryer they got as a wedding gift - it’s huge and takes up so much space on the counter.
Oh I love the chickens too. Up the road there’s a place with chickens and they’re always getting out, walking on the road and I’m always concerned they will get hit. So far so good and this has been going on for years.
Funny, I was thinking of Kinsley a few weeks ago and was going to ask. Wondering if she’s still around.
I like that sky.
Goodness Kinsley is 10! The years go by so quickly.
All the best Jan
Hi Karen. Yes, I remember you telling us about Kinsley! My, time goes so quickly! I downloaded that last book you liked, Counted With The Stars, to my Kindle and will be reading it soon. I think I will look for the one you recommended today too! I need a break from murder mysteries! I am thinking about getting an Air Fryer but probably not until I retire and we move. I am loving my new Striiv Fitness Tracker. Thanks for the link! See you again tomorrow!
What do you put in the chicken burritos? Besides chicken, of course. I have never seen such a long line of hay!!
I bet those chickens are happy to see you!
I do remember Kinsley. So sweet that she still hugs you.
That book sounds good, I'll have to look for it.
Chickens have a pecking order.
God bless.
That's so sweet that Kinsley still runs up to you for a hug. It's little things like that, that can make your day.
Chicken burrito's sure sound good.
Beautiful photos, I love the chickens. It is nice that Kinsley comes up to give you a hug. Take care, have a great day!
10 already and taller. Soon she'll be taller than you. Have a great Thursday!
Hope you're enjoying The Frozen River. It was a book I found hard to put down.
Thank you for telling us about The Frozen River. I heard the author on the radio a while back and was meaning to get a copy of the book and maybe suggest it to my book club.
