Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

The Last Puzzle

Woke up to a thunderstorm this morning so didn't go walking.
Then the thunder and lightning stopped and it was just raining.
Got my rain gear on and drove to town.
I no sooner got out of the Jeep when the whole sky lit up
and there was a crash of thunder.
So back home I went.
Torrential rain on the way back home and was like
the Jeep had good hose down and now it's pretty clean.

I put the last piece in the puzzle this morning.

Five Cats,

A Troll,

and even a mouse on a shelf.

If the puzzle holds together well, we turn it over and write on the back.
This is the third time we've done this puzzle.

This was the last puzzle we will do this season.
We'll start puzzling again in the Fall with the first snowfall.

All my yarn was in a bit of a mess so this afternoon got all of that
straightened out again.

That's going to be it for today.
Hope your Thursday is a happy one.
🙂HappyK❤️

Ginny - Besides chicken, the burritos had lettuce, spinach, cheese, and tomato in it with some zesty Italian dressing sprinkled in it.

Hi Karen. That's a great puzzle. I love all of the notes you make on the back. I finished another puzzle last night too. Don't know if I'll start another one or not. Sounds like you had some crazy weather in your neck of the woods today. I hope you have a good evening and can walk tomorrow. See you then!

You had some crazy weather today! My son in KY had crazy weather too with tornadoes and flooding.
I really like that puzzle with all the fun little details thrown in. I like your idea of writing a note on the back.
Hope tomorrow is better and you can get out.

That was quite the storm this morning, yes? We had planned to go to Morgantown today to run errands and I almost asked Carroll if we should stay home. We were dropping off some things to a thrift store and already had everything loaded in the truck, so we went. I was really glad that we went because it turned out to be a nice day.

That puzzle is so adorable.

We’re in the 60’s and 70’s and sunny with some passing clouds. It’s nice after so much rain.

We had a resounding thunder crash yesterday morning about 7:30. The sound went on and on. No more after that and no rain.

What a cute puzzle. I remember having some of those trolls when I was a kid. That's a great idea to write on the back of the puzzle with the dates you completed it.

You are so smart to decide to wait on a walk. I was just talking about that on my post today. You have to listen to your heart...or to the skies! Hugs!

Cute puzzle! What an exciting storm you had. Glad you weren't stuck out in it. Happy Friday to you. It's pizza night, yes? :)

Great idea to make a note on the back of the puzzle. Yep... it's more outdoor time than indoor time for us as well. I will deliver a borrowed puzzle today to a friend, and then that will be the puzzle season for us; until colder weather returns.
Have a great weekend!!

When my daughter was young we did puzzles all the time, then would tape them together after it was finished. She still has about 6 of them.
