No snow this morning and 23 degrees.
Would have been a good day for walking in town but now the problem is
that in town there are no good places to walk.
No one shovels their sidewalks and the snow is too deep to walk around
the cemeteries and the ball park.
I walked part of my walk inside this morning.
Then I finished up the house work for the week.
There was a nice sturdy table down in the basement that I cleaned
up and brought upstairs to use for a sewing table.
I put it next to my desk in the office right under the window.
Now I wish I had bought the sewing machine yesterday.
After lunch I walked down the driveway while Ken was clearing it again
with the tractor.
Then I continued walking and went up the lane.
Stopped here to take a picture.
That is town off in the distance.
This is at the top of the lane.
I walked up and down the lane a few times.
Look at this, we even had blue sky and sunshine.
What a joy to be out walking in the snow with the sun shining
and the temperature was a warm 24 degrees.
And Yes that did seem warm!
Read some this afternoon and for supper we had
Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, and Broccoli.
Hope your Friday was a good one and thanks for stopping by.

Sounds like a lovely day! It was so good to see the sunshine today. Have a wonderful weekend.
...what a beautiful sight, our sun is still MIA!
I do not know how you could have carried this table upstairs!! It is a nice little table and will be good for a sewing machine. The sky is such a pretty intense blue!
Sounds like a wonderful day.
This inspires me.
We had some blue sky today too - so nice to see it! 24 degrees sounds good to me too.
Your pictures are really pretty. I like that lane!
You live in such a beautiful place. Always love a Winter blue sky. To me it always seems a deeper more vibrant blue. Janice
Sounds a good day - and I'm sure your supper tasted good!
All the best Jan
I think a trip to town to buy the sewing machine will be happening very soon. That's the way it is when we get enthusiastic about a new project. Can't wait to start.
How beautiful it looks around your home. Are you in the US or a different country? Looks like you have some good snow...we have very little again this winter. Take care!
Hi Karen. I have my sewing machine on a table that looks just like yours. I think you will pick up sewing quickly and enjoy it! Glad you were able to get outside and walk a bit today. You sure have a lot of snow! See you again soon!
It’s good you could still get out and walk and 26 degrees does feel warm in the sun. I’ve had some of my worst sunburns on my forehead and face when we’d go up to Tahoe in the snow and high elevation .
When we have days of heavy rain, the mall in town opens up early just for the walkers. I’ve done that a few times but I don’t enjoy it because too many people and can’t keep a good pace.
You really live in such a pretty area.
I love walking in the snow when the temp is not too cold and the sun is shining.
That's a lot of (beautiful) snow.
God bless.
That blue sky is gorgeous. All your snowy pictures look so pretty.
That table is the perfect fit. Will you be going back and getting the sewing machine?
Your dinner sounds delicious.
I had meatloaf today as well with a baked sweet potato and brussels sprouts. Broccoli always sounds delicious.
We had sunshine and blue skies, too, yesterday! It was wonderful. Glad you could at least walk on the lane. Looks beautiful around your home with nice white snow. That will be a good space for sewing.
I so understand the joy of walking in snow on a sunny day. We bought our house in the California mountains because we were promised four seasons. But that no longer happens and I'm not sure I will see any snow at all this year. But I enjoy reading about your snow and your wonderful walks.
Blue sky and sunshine! Where'd you find that?
Hello,
We had a warmer morning, nice for a walk with the dog.
The blue sky looks lovely.
Take care, have a great weekend.
A lovely day.
