Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Snow - didn't walk

It snowed during the night and it's been snowing all day and it's very windy too.
I didn't go for my morning walk - Ken suggested I not go and I'm listening to him this year.
Had to get steps inside today.

We were in the house all day, never made it outside.

Didn't do much of anything so this will be a short post today.

Spent part of the day working on the jigsaw puzzle.

David and Liz stopped by for a while after they got home from work.

Picture taken out front door.

Drifts on the back deck

Friday, so it's pizza day.
I make the dough from scratch now and we like it the best.

That's all I've got for today.
Happy Friday and thanks for stopping by.

Ginny - Yes, Walmart gave me a refund on the bifocals which was nice!!

Bill - Yes, I have some of those spikes for my shoes when it's icy too.

That's quite a lot of snow ... very wise to walk indoors.
Enjoy doing that puzzle.

All the best Jan

Oh, I forgot (happens often these days) to comment on the puzzle, it looks gigantic! How many pieces are there? I'm embarrassed to tell you that mine are 300, but I have a couple my neighbor gave me that are more, maybe 350 and they scare me.

Hi Karen. That looks like an interesting puzzle. Is it 1000 pieces? Usually I max out with 500 piece puzzles. Glad you got some snow. We are supposed to get rain and snow this weekend and next week. I hope you have a good weekend. See you again soon!

You really got a bunch for a first snow. Glad you had a puzzle to keep you occupied.
Enjoy your walk tomorrow!

Andvinthoufhtvwe had snow! Our streets are totally clear and at least half shine from the yard. I bet yours lasts longer. I do avoid taking chances with falling..that fall in 2018 was about more than I could deal with.
