Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Saturday

28 degrees this morning and cloudy - no rain or snow falling from the sky!
Sunrise 7:37 - finally sunrise times start to go the other way.  Lighter mornings coming my way.
Walk Steps 12,183

Another very quiet walk around town.
Went through town and back, around both the cemeteries, then the ball park loop,
and through town once again.

The mud is now frozen mud so went down to see the 'girls' down at the barn.

David spotted me walking (says I'm easy to spot in my bright green sweat shirt) on his way to work and stopped to say Hi and show me the new hand grips he installed in his Jeep.
When he went on his way, he said I Love You and gave me a wink. πŸ˜‰

☁️    πŸ₯Ύ    πŸ„    😊

We went out just late morning to do some errands around town and over in Grantsville.

Afternoon found me reading, sewing weave-its and working on the puzzle.

Thanks for popping in for a visit.
Hope your day was a good one.

The girls appear to be managing winter.

...frozen mud sure is better than muddy mud.

It took me a few seconds to figure out who this David feller was saying, "I love you." ☺️ That's sweet and I'm sure that it made your day.

28F degrees sound quite reasonable for winter...we have ridiculously warm winter this year..so far, no snow in sight.

Glad you were able to get down to see the girls. How wonderful to have your son for a neighbor! I love that one little wink!

We're so much further North that our sunrise today was finally 8 but tomorrow morning it will be 7:59. YAY. By the end of January we'll have gained an hour and 4 minutes of daylight.

Spring is just around the corner! Enjoyed seeing the 'girls'.

You're loved by us all...but I know it's special coming from the "special" man!!!

Hello,

Love the girls at the barn. We still have not had any accumulating snow here, I am not complaining. Happy Sunday, have a happy new week!

Seeing "the girls" would make my day, every time. I love cows! My dad raised cattle when I was young and I've always had a fondness for them. We would drive down the back roads and I would ask him to tell me the breed of every cow or bull I saw.

It#s nice to walk when the town is quiet in the morning.

Looks cold! But the girls don't seem to mind! How fun to see your son at a random time like that!

Something about that dusting of snow makes everything look peaceful.
I love the photos of the girls.
