Morning skies from last week.
π π
Luke 2:7
And she brought forth her firstborn son,
and wrapped him in swaddling clothes,
and laid him in a manger;
because there was no room for them in the inn.
πΆ Gently Mary Laid Her Child πΆ
Gentle Mary laid her Child
Lowly in a manger;
There He lay, the undefiled,
To the world a stranger:
Such a Babe in such a place,
Can He be the Savior?
Ask the saved of all the race
Who have found His favor.
Angels sang about His birth;
Wise men sought and found Him;
Heaven's star shone brightly forth,
Glory all around Him:
Shepherds saw the wondrous sight,
Heard the angels singing;
All the plains were lit that night,
All the hills were ringing.
Gentle Mary laid her Child
Lowly in a manger;
He is still the undefiled,
But no more a stranger:
Son of God, of humble birth,
Beautiful the story;
Praise His name in all the earth,
Hail the King of glory!
A Blessed Sunday to all.
Jesus Love You❤️

I remember that old song. Beautiful photos, too. Merry Christmas. xo Diana
Wow.
Such beautiful pictures! I didn't know that was a song, I read it like a poem, it is so heartwarming!
A new song to me...will look for the melody. Stunning skies!
The pink & yellow sky is gorgeous! And in the second photo, look at the sun reflecting on the branches!!
Gorgeous sky. I love the one with the branches in the foreground.
Santa...❤️❤️❤️
A song I haven't heard before. The words are wonderful. Lovely morning skies, too.

They are beautiful skies.
All the best Jan
Happy Monday, friend. So much snow...and it doesn't seem you are that terribly far from me (here in Northern Virginia) but we have not had a flake. I am, personally, just fine with that!:) I saw your comment and wanted to tell you that we now go to Fellowship Baptist Church (in Oakton) and that is where we do the scripture assembly and partner with Beacon of Truth. My pastor most likely knows your pastor although I know (believe) there are a couple Pastor Leathermans. (Right?) Until about three years ago, we attended Heritage Baptist and (a) Pastor Leatherman did several Wildgame Suppers for us. Just some fyi.... As Christians, the world can become "a bit smaller" and I always find that interesting. And fun!:)
Beautiful skies!
