Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Puzzle Finished

38 degrees this morning with a misty drizzle when
I left the house for my walk.
The mist ended in a couple of miles.
I took off the wet hoodie and the one underneath was still dry.
Didn't see the sun rise but it was up there
 behind the clouds at 7:40
Walked 5.8 miles

Walked around town and when the mist ended went back to
the Jeep, dropped off my wet hoodie and picked up a library
book and then over to the library to drop it down the book drop.

Lisa was out walking and we stopped and talked again.

Continued walking over to the ball park and walked around there.
Then both of the cemeteries.

I spotted a skunk walking in the yard of the house were we used to live.
Took a picture but it came out one big blur,
but didn't want to take a chance of getting too close.

🌧    🥾    ☁️    🙂

We finished the puzzle last evening.

We usually turn the puzzle over when done and write on the back.
This is what Ken wrote on this one.

Ended up being a nice sunny day though it stayed on the cool side.
I got some more work done around the house.
Then read and made some more weave-its.
Should be done in two more days with the blanket.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Thursday

Ginny - Yes, Ken does the puzzles too.  Most of the puzzles we do are 1000 pieces.

MsBB - Ken eats his on a sub roll.  I like to eat mine in a bowl with a roll on the side.

There's so much detail in your puzzle. It must have been a lot of fun doing it.
You were no doubt wise to stay far away from that skunk!!

1,000 pieces!!! You guys are PROS! We can never manage ones this big. How on earth do you get it turned over? What an awesome idea to write on the back, now I want to do it.

...you sure did that puzzle quickly.

That's a fun notation on the back of the puzzle. Sometimes, I write the first snow on the calendar, but that doesn't make much sense unless one is keeping calendars. I used to, but not anymore.

You have put together a happy scene, but it certainly doesn’t look like snow will be flying anytime soon. I like the idea of making notations on the back. Now for Number 2.

Wow, that is really a great puzzle. I love it. Do you take the puzzles apart, or glue the pieces together and keep them?

Love the puzzle. Neat idea to write on the back of it when you're done.

God bless.

Hello,
The puzzle picture is pretty. I do not see live skunks around here.
Hubby and I are slowing working on our puzzle, you are fast.
Take care, enjoy your day and weekend!

I like your puzzles. I don't seem to have the patience to stick with them, though I have tried!

What a neat idea to write on the back of the puzzle. Our limit is 750 pieces due to space and lack of patience with anything bigger! Our puzzle table will come out in another week or so. Enjoy your weekend!

That looks like a fun puzzle. I like when the colors are grouped in ways that make sense. Sometime colors are so muted that they make putting the puzzle together a bit of a head ache.
