Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Bulls in the barnyard

31 degrees this morning and clear.
All snow gone.
Saw the sun once it rose at 7:33.
Walked 5.2 miles

Walked up and around town, down the main road,
and around both cemeteries.

Rebecca was out running this morning.

Went down to the Drane house.

The pond behind the Drane house.

And down this was too is the barnyard with the bulls.
All the bulls that have been in the surrounding pastures around the
Drane house aren't there anymore.
But lots of bulls are back in the barnyard.

Walking past the library I noticed it is getting a new metal roof.

Got home from walking, got changed, ate breakfast
and left for church.
It was a Blankets for Babies work day.
Eight people working today.
There I am making a square.
Someone sneaked this picture of me.
(picture not from today)

Didn't do much this afternoon, mainly read and puttered about.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Thursday

And of course the bulls notice you.

Hooray for sneaky photo takers! Sounds like a fun group to work with. They are talking first snow around here. We'll see if that materializes. Our oldest and his love are on their way to our home for the weekend. Hoping to get our kids to help me clear out our planters for winter! I'll be scarce on the internets!

It's nice to put a face with the blogger.
I'm sure you have said before but what is the Drane house? It looks very old.

It is nice to see you, working on the baby blankets. Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend!

That's a lot of bulls!!!! Wonder if you will become friends with 1 or 2? -smile-

Not a good picture of you!!! Nope! Not! You are prettier than that, but your hair is lovely.

Love the beautiful silver color of your hair! I would consider leaving mine to grow out if it looked like that!
