Last nights sunset from the front porch.

45 degrees this morning when I left the house to go on my walk.
A sunny morning with no breeze at all.
A sunny morning with no breeze at all.
Had my usual walk around town, the cemeteries and the ball park.
As I got to the cemetery on top of the hill the boots were
on their way out. Wonder where they are headed next
or if that is the last we will see of them.
Bulls back outside today.
My Friend #55 and others enjoying breakfast.

Farmer Marvin stopped in his truck to thank me once again for letting
him know about #59 the other day.
Him and Austin went back to check on him 2 times that day
and all was well.

I was wrong about those 2 bulls getting sold yesterday.
Farmer Mavin said he was just 'working' the bulls.

Oh and Rose, I asked and the bulls are yearlings so you were right.
The fountain in the town park got turned on yesterday.
I'm liking these nice warmish sunny mornings for walking.

Typical morning around the house for me getting chores done.
Walked around Happy Trails in the afternoon for a while.
Then home to read and make some weave-its before supper.
A most enjoyable day.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy sunny day to you.

Eileen - yes, the yellow flowers from yesterday are forsythia - the first ones I've seen blooming this year.
GrannyM - The lady looking for directions for the Covid vaccine had the wrong industrial park. There is another one in the next town over and that is where the testing for Covid and the vaccine is being given.
Ms BB - I just put the whole sausages that have been pricked with fork a few times in the slow cooker (pkg of 5) that has been sprayed with Pam. Add nothing else and they cook for about 5 or 6 hours. They come out great.

And Now For Ken's Morning Adventure With the Cows
While I was out walking this morning Ken was at home having
an adventure of his own.
Ken took all the following cow pictures.
Ken took all the following cow pictures.
He happened to look outside and saw some cows roaming around out back again.
One went around to the front of the house and down by the sliding glass doors in the basement and had a peek inside.
Maybe she heard about the train layout down there and wanted to get a look.
Her nose is pressed against the glass.
Ken is outside here with the cows.
Farmer Eugene came over and he and Ken spent the next half hour
rounding them up. They weren't all together so it was a bit of a
challenge getting them all back home.

Eugene thinks there must be a hole in the fence somewhere
because he fixed the cattle guard, but I think they just hop the guard.

You and Ken are so nice that the bulls and cows want to be your friends. :-) I don't know much about how good a cow's vision is, but it looks to me that that cow could see something in your house that she wanted. Interesting post with great bovine photography!
Now that's an adventure! I'm sure they were there to check out the trains.
Oh, Ken's parting line is so funny. How funny all those cows visiting. And imagine how funny anyone would feel if they did not know they were around and looked up to find one staring at you through door/window! It makes me giggle to think about.
You have now answered all my questions about the bulls...thank you..I have wondered forever if they were to be sold for food, but I thought, no, if they are all bulls, I don't think so. And I had wondered forever about their age.
...I have had my share of adventures, they pale against Ken's!
I hope the boots won't go away yet, I love seeing where they are each day. I had to laugh about the cow coming to the door and looking in, just like my egret I posted about yesterday lol. I guess we live among some nosey critters!
How funny to have that cow peeking into the house! All Ken has to do is stay home, and adventure comes to him! LOL
It must be Spring if the fountain in the park is on.
Beautiful sunrise. I hope that's not the last we see of those boots!
Great photos today (as always!). I just love the ones of the cows in Ken's adventure. I'm with the others who hope that the boots stay around for a while longer. Your sunrise photo is beautiful.
The cow looking inside is hilarious.
I wonder if that cow would've come inside had Ken opened the door? ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
To wake up in the morning and find that the cows are out, is a farmer's nightmare. Farmer Eugene is lucky to have such patient and helpful neighbors. Now I am wondering about those boots. It is almost as though someone is placing them Where you will see them.
Lol on just waiting for adventure to come his way. Cute photos of the calf at the door. And those boots...I think "how fun" this has been.
Pretty sunset.
Great adventures and good fun.
God bless.
Hello,
Love the beautiful sunset, the boots made for walking, the flowers and the fountain! Cute shots of the cows. It is funny seeing the one cow is looking inside your door. He/she wants to come inside for a visit. Ken did have an adventure. Take care, have a great day!
Ken's adventure looks very interesting. That nose smudge on your patio door...oh my! Sounds as if the warm up has arrived.
Ohhhhhh, this is so funny!!!!!!!!!!
And it's so cute, that you never know what to expect next, where you live.
Betcha' that cow's nose, made a nice, big, wet mark, on the outside of the patio door. -giggggggles-
Awwwww, the boots are walking out. Hope they don't go too far, so you can continue to tell us, of their adventures.
Thank you about the sausages!!!!! Might try sausage, pepper and onions some time! A new idea is always welcome!
But I'd put a *wee rub* of butter, in the crock pot. _Read_ what is IN those cooking sprays!!! It is scary! Please use a bit of natural, old fashioned butter.

Wow, what an adventure Ken had. The visitors just wanted him to know that they got him covered. :)
Adventures away from home and adventures at home.
Life does not get boring that way.
That's so funny about the cows coming over to visit and looking in the basement doors!
"Ken says I walk and have adventures,
he waits for them to come to him."
LOL :)
Great post.
All the best Jan
Haha! Love Ken's comment at the end. Hilarious to see a cow looking in your window. I continue to enjoy seeing where those boots travel. We're away from home right now and I'm finally sitting down with my computer for awhile.
