Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Friday

This is the fifth day in a row that the temperature has been 55 degrees in the morning when I walked.
No wind to speak of and a mix of sun and clouds.

Had one of those random walks up and down all the streets in town.
Nothing going on in town, very quiet and didn't see any others out.

Walking down the main street in town.

Walked 6 miles

🍂    🍁    🍂    🍁

Gathered up all the garbage and loaded it in the back of the truck
and went to the dump this morning.

It was another summer day here by us.
A good day to sit on the porch (might not get too many more days like this)
and read and do a couple of crossword puzzles.
Supposed to rain tomorrow.

Thanks for visiting.

A happy Friday to you.

Though our county has the least amount of Covid cases in the state,
in the last two weeks cases have started to increase each day.

...your color is exciting to see, but your numbers aren't and ours are on the rise too. Perhaps we haven't turned the corner, it's going to be a long hard winter.

I know what you are saying about enjoying the porch sitting. I know there won't be any more here. But I have sat in the sun wearing a coat at times....just t be outside. I love the town picture Blessings, xoxo, Susie

We've had fog every morning and very warm temperatures. However, your sunrise photo is beautiful!

I love that gorgeous sunrise sky. It is sad to see the numbers go up. Manitoba is steadily climbing as well. That is not the direction we would like to see it go.

Oh how wonderful to have such warm temps.

Enjoy the weekend...

Breathtaking sunrise! I think the numbers are rising just about everywhere (the nat'l news said 39 states are seeing a rise in cases).

Hello,

Love the sunrise and the gorgeous fall colors. I have been watching the Johns Hopkins website that shows each state and their numbers. Supposedly any state with positivity rate 5 or under is doing well. Maryland is 2.3 which is really good. It does say some states are holding back their number reporting, I wonder why? Covid really never went away, the numbers just go up and down since last March. Take care and stay safe. Have a happy weekend!

I know these are your favorite temps to walk! We aren't even getting that cool overnight yet. But it still feels great to get outside and you have some pretty color this year. Take care! Enjoy your weekend!

Wonderful colours of the trees. Stay safe.

God bless.

Beautiful early morning sky and the trees are looking magnificent. The numbers seem to be going up everywhere and the reason here is because people are being too comfortableand not following all the rules. Even being in lockdown, some people are not doing their part. Heavy fines were just passed for violators so maybe that will help. Stay safe.

Red sky in the morning! So pretty! I’ve been afraid of flu season that Covid would come back with a vengeance. My husband just lost a friend to it and we have a couple who are fighting it now. Scary.

That is a lovely sunrise.
Our Covid numbers are on the rise - it's worrying.
Stay safe and well.

All the best Jan
