Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A verse and a hymn

 Happy Sunday

Isaiah 49:13 KJV

Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth;
and break forth into singing, O mountains:
for the Lord hath comforted his people,
and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

To God Be the Glory
By Fanny J Crosby
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God...
Romans 15:5

1. To God be the glory great things He hath done!
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.

refrain
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father thru Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory – great things He hath done!

2. O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

3. Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.

Kathie - I am using the potholders for decoration only.  They are nailed to the wall in the kitchen near the top by the ceiling. Have 8 so far.

I loved seeing the cat in the window in your previous post. So sweet. I also liked seeing the street light reflecting on the pavement. Hope your Sunday was a great day. It's getting on to evening here. I love the pretty colors of autumn around here. Shared the day with daughter Kathy. That is my blessing for today. Blessings to you and Ken, xoxo, Susie

Don't know that hymn, but the words are excellent. I like the potholders creating that border.
