Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

LIttle is Much

 This picture was taken from the end of my driveway this afternoon.
There is a farm road which starts behind the barn
and runs along the trees that goes up over the top of the hill.
Then down through woods and eventually to a road which leads to town.
It was the route we took on the hayride yesterday.

 This picture was taken last night about half way up the hill while on the hayride.

A hymn we sang at church this morning.

Little is Much When God is in it.
~ Kittie L. Suffield 1924

 1. In the harvest field now ripened
There’s a work for all to do;
Hark! the voice of God is calling
To the harvest calling you.

 Refrain
Little is much when God is in it,
Labor not for wealth or fame;
There’s a crown, and you can win it,
If you go in Jesus’ name.

2.  Does the place you’re called to labor
Seem too small and little known?
It is great if God is in it,
And He’ll not forget His own.

3.  When the conflict here is ended
And our race on earth is run,
He will say, if we are faithful,
"Welcome home, My child, well done!

A Happy and Blessed Sunday to you.

That second view stands out.

Have always liked that hymn with its lilting melody.

Too bad about the buttermilk sumac “paint.” Lasts forever and never peels, though it does become a lovely faded red. My jelly cupboard had a buttermilk paint without sumac...it was a cream color. Wish I had never painted over it...twice!

That’s a beautiful view from the hay wagon.

I'd say little is much when handed to the right person.

Beautiful country view. I do not think I've heard this song. Maybe I have and can't put my finger on it.

That is one of the first songs I remember learning/singing shortly after I became a Christian. It has such a beautiful message.
