Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Pink

Started walking this morning at 6:40
55 degrees, mostly sunny with a few clouds and it was calm
Sunrise 6:27

Walked to town with a library book and dropped it down the
book slot at the library.
There are pretty flowers in pots all along the front of the library.
Continued walking around town along the back roads and on over
to the ball park and walked the loop there.
The woman with her dog Max was walking there and today I
learned that her name is Tina.
Now its official, we're walking friends.
Didn't see any deer at all today and only one rabbit.
Lots of goldfinches though.
Walked back through town and home.
This is the last curve on the hill just before I get home.
 ðŸŒ¤     🌤
Breakfast eaten and morning chores done
we headed out in the truck to LaVale.
Stopped in several different stores getting errands done
and then had baked potatoes for lunch at Wendy's
before driving back home.
Ken got busy building a church project.
I had a very easy afternoon
sitting on the porch working on the latest baby blanket.
Want to have it finished by Thursday which is when Blankets for Babies
meet at church.
 Also did some reading.
 Pizza Monday at Brenda's.
Hope your day was a happy one.

I like those flower pots that sit in front of the library. Pink Dahlias if I'm not mistaken.
Enjoy your pizza at Brenda's.

I was wondering if those were pink dahlias....seeing Granny Marigold's comment makes me feel sure they are. They are a gorgeous pink. I like the idea of pots of flowers around the library.

Every day now is getting two minutes shorter, one minute in the morning and one in the evening, so we all will be adjusting our schedules quite soon. The goldfinches have been all over my sunflowers. They are so fun to watch. Your curvy highways make for some interesting pictures.

Hi Karen- very pretty Library Flowers- we don't have many flowers in our yard - mostly Palms and Ferns...we do have an Hybiscus which has nice big flowers. Enjoy your day. Cheers. KEV.

Another good day for both of us. (I spent mine catching up with John’s sisters whom I had not seen in nearly a month.) I am glad that you met another walking buddy.

Beautiful flowers, I am so jealous over your cool temps. I have had to slack up on my walking, as we are under a heat advisory and will be for days. the humidity is what is so cruel.
I enjoy reading of your days, so productive.
Thanks for stopping by, have a blessed day.

My library has a conveyor belt drop off box. Makes me feel more at ease when I put Blurays in them.

I had a pink dahlia that color once...it came from Lowe's and I believe it was being sold in connection with Breast Cancer Awareness...such a beautiful color of pink!
