Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Wooden bridge

I've been fighting off a chest cold for the last couple of days
and today I lost the battle.
It was a damp morning and Ken thought it best that
I skip my walk.
Glad I listened to him because all day I've been
dragging around.

Ken stopped working on the stone bridge in back and worked
on a wooden bridge out front.
I watched and walked a around a little just to get some air.
Progress on the bridge so far.
There will be water coming down the stones on the left
into a water feature that Ken has planned.
The decking is left over from the porch on the house.
Short post today.
Sorry I won't be around to visit you today.

A happy day to you.

Hope you feel better soon. I can't wait to see what your place will look like once it's all done. Should be even more beautiful than it already is.

It doesn't seem to matter if your Ken is working on a train layout or working full-scale on the side of a mountain, the end results are going to be pretty awesome. What a great feature this is going to be! I hope you are feeling better soon. Take care!

The bridge will be lovely when all done. Take care of yourself. I had the same kind FYI - I see in your comments a spam thing from Mumbai escorts. They are the reason I put my blog on comment moderation. They keep showing up. Ridiculous!

You must be sick if you're not taking your walk! I hope you feel better soon. I snuck a look at your last post and those daffodils are so cheerful. Have you thought about taking a short video with your camera? It might capture the sounds you are hearing and then you could share them all with us? I hope you have a healthy weekend, and thanks for taking the time to visit my blog!
