I've been fighting off a chest cold for the last couple of days
and today I lost the battle.
It was a damp morning and Ken thought it best that
I skip my walk.
Glad I listened to him because all day I've been
dragging around.
Ken stopped working on the stone bridge in back and worked
on a wooden bridge out front.
I watched and walked a around a little just to get some air.
Progress on the bridge so far.
There will be water coming down the stones on the left
into a water feature that Ken has planned.
The decking is left over from the porch on the house.
Short post today.
Sorry I won't be around to visit you today.
A happy day to you.

Take time to heal dear girl! Love the bridge!
...take care, we are taking care of a six year old granddaughter with the flu and we are on Tamiflu.
Sorry you aren't feeling well today. Hope it passes quickly. Will be praying for you.
I hope you feel better soon! It does not sound like fun. I am going to love to see the water feature when it is finished.
Hopefully you're feeling better soon.
Sending 'feel better soon' wishes.
That is going to be a cute feature for your place!
Looking forward to seeing the finished project :)
Smiles :)

Sorry you're under the weather. I hope you feel better soon.
Hope you feel better soon. I can't wait to see what your place will look like once it's all done. Should be even more beautiful than it already is.
It doesn't seem to matter if your Ken is working on a train layout or working full-scale on the side of a mountain, the end results are going to be pretty awesome. What a great feature this is going to be! I hope you are feeling better soon. Take care!
So sorry you're not feeling well, Karen. God's blessings of healing are prayed for you today. The bridge looks wonderful.
Good to see Ken's Bridge- hope your getting well there Karen.
Praying for your good health.
God bless.
Hello, the bridge looks wonderful. Ken is very handy! I hope you feel better soon. Enjoy your day and week ahead.
Rest is good when it is needed. What a nice feature Ken is working on...
The bridge will be lovely when all done. Take care of yourself. I had the same kind FYI - I see in your comments a spam thing from Mumbai escorts. They are the reason I put my blog on comment moderation. They keep showing up. Ridiculous!
Glad you skipped the walk. Rest is what you need now.
So sorry you aren't feeling well. Try to rest and hope you feel better soon.
All the best Jan
PS I like the bridge.
That's going to be a nice little foot bridge with all of the water coming down. Sure hope you are feeling better soon!
I hope you will feel better soon. And how great Ken is building so many great things for the two of you to enjoy. Take care.
The bridge looks good.
I hope you will feel better soon, Karen.
That is an ambitious project Ken is undertaking. It looks great so far.
You must be sick if you're not taking your walk! I hope you feel better soon. I snuck a look at your last post and those daffodils are so cheerful. Have you thought about taking a short video with your camera? It might capture the sounds you are hearing and then you could share them all with us? I hope you have a healthy weekend, and thanks for taking the time to visit my blog!
I hope that you are up and about, and feeling much better, soon. The bridge will be wonderful. I love water features.
I hope you will soon be feeling better, spring colds are so difficult to deal with. You will enjoy listening to the water flow under your bridge, you and your dh have some wonderful ideas for your beautiful Happy Trails, Karen. Have a blessed day.
Sue
