Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

So nice to see the sun

🌷     🌷
Not a beautiful colorful sunrise this morning but seeing a blue
sky was a beautiful sight.
It was 31 degrees and very still when I left the house at 6:45
this morning.
Walked around and through town and up Barn Sale a ways.
Made my way up the hill to the cemetery and a couple of times around the
ball park loop.  One fisherman out at the town pond.  I see the
same man out most every morning.

Nice to walk in the sun again and being able to wear my
regular walking shoes.
Walked 6.2 miles
🌷     🌷
Ken was up at the house taking up the rest of the floor when I got
back home from walking.  He was finished by 10:00.
I made myself a pancake for breakfast and added some
mini chocolate chips in the batter.

Up at the new house the interior doors were delivered.
Here's the progress of the bathroom.
Above the wainscotting will be blue.
The same color vinyl is in the mud room and the half bath also.

Got a some more weave-it squares sewn together this afternoon
and also read and knitted a couple of rows.

Late afternoon we went out to do a few errands.
Home and looking forward to my ice cream,
which I still have most evenings.

The parts of the new house you showed in this post look great! Can't wait to see more. What fun to be building such a lovely house. Nice walk. Nicer still to see the sun. Enjoy your Wednesday tomorrow!

Your house is looking lovely! This is the part that makes everything worth while when you get to see it all coming together.

I got a chuckle seeing the cows standing on little spots of green grass. I bet they are ready for some sunshine and green patures as well.
