Money Cupcakes

Another day another nice walk all around town.

Temperature was 51 degrees.

Mostly cloudy with a little blue sky and sun.

Sunrise 7:15

Walked up and down the main road and side streets and

around all four of the loops.

Cemeteries, ball park, and new road.

Pretty quite around town early this morning.

 Didn't see anyone else out walking

though did wave to a few of the people I see every day.

Went to the library this morning to meet the ladies for Stitching.

There were 5 of us there.

I finished knitting the fun scarf.

This afternoon I baked 4 dozen cupcakes for the kids in Sunday school.

2 dozen chocolate and 2 dozen white.

These aren't just any old cupcakes though.  

It is a special day for them because these are Money Cupcakes.

Inside each cupcake is money.  

The money is folded up and wrapped in tin foil, put in the bottom

of the cupcake paper and then the batter is poured over them.

Then  baked as usual.

Most of the cupcakes have $1 

but there are a couple have 5 or 10 dollars in them.

I've been baking these for the last 10 years.
