A walk under cloudy skies this morning.
It was 62 degrees and calm.
I walked over to the library and dropped a couple DVD's down the slot.
The same two that we picked up the other day.
Watched one episode of each and didn't care for either one.
my way over to the ball park and walked around there.
Continued up and down some more side streets,
many of them in town little more than alleys.
Here's three of them in a collage.
Ended my walk going around the cemetery on the
hill a few times.
Very quiet around town this early Friday morning.
I went a little earlier today because wanted to leave the house
early to get to church.
I was out walking in town a little before 6:00.

Spent the day at church finishing up a two day Fingerprint work session.
Not that many people showed up but we got a lot of work done!!
Assembled, stapled, cut, and boxed up 9,422 Roman books for the 2 days.
Our goal for the year is 100,000 and it is the half way mark
now that it is June and so far we have done a little over 52,000
so right on schedule.
Sure looking forward to our homemade pizza which we will be
eating in just a little while.
Hope you had a wonderful day.
Thanks so much for coming by.

sounds like a great day. 62 and cloudy sounds appealing as the sun would be hard for me!! doing good work, staying on goal, very fulfilling!! i love homemade pizza, i have not made it in a while!!
YAY for you being on schedule with your books. I had Yucca at my old house and the deer loved it. Janice
Your temperature of 62 degrees sounds lovely ... here in the UK we have been experiencing a heatwave which now thankfully is waning.
Enjoy your pizza.
All the best Jan
Dear Karen, 62 degrees is an ideal temperature for taking an enjoyable long walk! Your photos are lovely, as always, dear friend. Your pizza sounds delicious! Enjoy! I hope you have a lovely weekend.
...those yucca and sweet peas sure are putting on a show.
Yucca! And what looks like Sweet Peas. A different route today. So I can see more of your town!
Wow, right on schedule for sure. I enjoyed seeing the alleyways in your town. Have a great Saturday!
Hi Karen! It's so great that you are right on schedule to finish 100,000 little books this year! I am reading the Book of Romans in my Bible now. It is a wonderful book to give people to share the Good News of Jesus and the Gospel. Have a good Saturday!
Hooray for being on schedule with the fingerprints. The flowers you saw while out walking are so pretty.
You all really did do a lot of work, cranking them out. The photos like always are so pretty
All the plants looks so pretty and healthy!
Your 62 degrees sounds wonderful! We've been in the 80s the last few days and next week will be mid 90s. I'm not fond of heat like that!
It's delightful to be able to walk so many places. Walking to the library would be great. Mine is about 6 miles from where I live. Have a great weekend.
Pretty flowers! It has been very humid here, very warm too.
Have a great weekend.
I love slow and quiet early morning walks. There is nothing more serene to me. Well, I love walks so I can say that really about any walk. LOL! Great work on reaching the goal for the booklets.
The flowers are pretty to see. The weather is cooler and nice to do your walk in the morning. Enjoy your day.
It looks like a place where going to church becomes one with the surrounding landscape. It feels perfectly suited to a peaceful way of life.
