A morning walk under the clouds today.
62 degrees and calm.
Lots of rabbits down my road as I drove to town.
They were going every which way.
I counted 7 of them.
Started my walk going around both of the cemeteries.
Then over to the ball park and around there.
Back to the pond and then up and down the main road
and a few of the side streets.
Rebecca was out walking and saw her twice.
Once walking Leo and the other time walking alone.
One of my neighbor cows escaped and was just going up my driveway
as I was just getting back home.
😊 ☁️ 🐄 🥾
Skipped going to the library to meet the stitching ladies today.
Instead Ken and I went on a Garden Tour.
They have one every year with different gardens and farms around the county.
This year they were all close to home around Accident.
Yesterdays forecast predicted rain but it held off for the tour
and was just cloudy.
There were 4 different places to go.
Number 1 was Honey Moon Farm
It's a 3 acre farm focusing on growing produce,
keeping honeybees, and raising a flock of free-range hens.
Broccoli
Number 2 was Historic Home on Cove Road.
1800 home surrounded by lovely gardens.
The grass was so thick!!
It was bare foot grass.
The old kitchen now a garden shed.
Number 3 was Branch Bender Cidery
A woman was giving a flower arrangement demonstration.

The last and number 4
was the Hickory Environmental Education Center.
It is behind the Middle School and High School.
It's a 77 acre learning center which teaches students about the environment by putting them in it.
I never knew all this was back there.
This is the map of the place.
There's Ken at the bottom of the tree taking the picture above.
We had a very nice time visiting all on the tour.
I had a couple of people ask me if it was me they see walking
around town!!
I spent the last half of the afternoon relaxing at home and reading.
It's been a good day and hope yours was a good one too.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
