Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

☁️ 🐄 🍪 🪡

Walked under cloudy skies this morning but at least nothing
was falling out of the sky.
A slight breeze and 60 degrees.
Sunrise 5:54
Sun is already up by the time I leave now.

Started my walk going around both of the cemeteries.
Then went down the road back towards home a ways before
turning around and going back to town.

These are some of the cows I visited in the long barn who
are now out to pasture.

When I walked back up the road they were closer to the road.

My cat friend KitKat was on his way to the pond.

I walked through town up and down a few side streets and then headed
back to the pond.

Rebecca was out walking.
We weren't close to each other so just waved.

☁️     🌸    😊

Baked a batch of chocolate chippers this morning.
These are for the kids at Sunday school.
Have one more batch to bake before I have enough.
These are for June 7.
I bake them ahead of time and put them in the freezer.

This is one of the babies who received a baby blanket from church.
They sent me a picture because it is one I made out of weave-its.

This afternoon I worked on the cow counted cross stitch.
I only last about an hour and a half before my
eyes can't take any more.
Having the Ott light and wearing magnifying glasses sure help though.

Hope you had a wonderful day and
thanks for coming by.
HappyK🙂

Ginny - We don't grow anything on our property, it is all woods.  We've made walking trails and just keep things natural. They only thing that seems to grow is rocks!! :) We heat our house with propane.

What a precious little one! And how thoughtful that they sent you a picture because the blanket is one you made with weave-it squares. So sweet!

KitKat hasn't lost his winter coat yet. Our Kitty looks almost thin now that she lost hers.
Our sunrise was at 5:11 this morning. That was before I got up!!!!

The cows in the pasture looks so peaceful, great photo. I haven't cross stitched in a while, it got too tedious for me. Hope you're enjoying a wonderful Wednesday!
