A nice sunny morning for walking around the farm loop.
It was 42 degrees.
Started out sunny but ended up with more clouds than sun.
New yellow lines down the middle of the road.
Not many roads where you can walk down the middle of the road
for 2 miles and not have a car come by!
Took this picture up at the school.
You can see the church in town.
The long barn where I see the cows is way to the right.
When I got back to town the pond had a fishing event going on.
Saw Rebecca out walking around town when I got back.
A good morning for finding coins.
quarter
dime
2 pennies

Stitching day at the library with the ladies.
5 of us there.
I started knitting the second pink slipper.
After lunch I made Potato Salad which we are having with
hamburgers for supper.
Also made a Rhubarb Cobbler.
I'll have that for my snack later.
Here's Ken bird feeder to keep out the chipmunks.
A pole with a cross pole to hand the feeders and
a piece of square metal that the chipmunks can't get around.
So far it's working.
Did you know that chipmunks can jump 2 feet up and
3 feet across.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hope you had a wonderful day.
HappyK😊

I did enjoy the photographs you've shared.
Pleased that Kens bird feeder pole is working.
All the best Jan
Hey whatever works! Lol
Rats can jump that high too. I stood at my kitchen window and couldn't believe my eyes as we've not ever had them before. They will jump and then hold themselves on the side of a metal dollar tree cookie sheet. Well that had to go. No sides that they can hold on to. So far it's been a year. We don't have chipmunk or squirrels to contend with. My husband is always looking for better ways to improve upon.
Dear Karen, your photos are gorgeous.
The bird feeder is genius! Also in the fourth photo, I love the shadows on the ground
...does Ken' pole work with squirrels?
Beautiful photos from your walk. Looks like it was a nice day.
Very clever with the pole. Hope it continues to keep the chipmunks away. Then again they could be off in the woods somewhere plotting and planning on how to maneuver that.
Beautiful photos, the first one is my favorite.
It is hard here to keep the squirrels away from my feeders.
Take care, have a great day and a happy week ahead!
Glad Ken's pole is working. Lovely pictures and lunch and dessert sounded yummy! Janice
Hope that creation keeps those pesky critters from the bird feeders. Great idea. How fun to see all those folk at the pond!
Did you find all those coins in one spot? Sometimes people drop a bunch out of their pockets when taking keys or their phone out.
lovely pictures, i think the clouds help us appreciate the sun even more!! i am a knitter too...going through my patterns to cast on a new project!! i love homemade potato salad...i now want to make some. because i am commenting on sunday...i see those sunset pictures and they are amazing!!
Potato salad and hamburgers seem like the quintessential summer fare!!
I hope Ken's bird feeder pole keeps the chipmunks away.
Great pictures.
