61 degrees this morning, windy, and cloudy for walking today.
Walked around the cemetery on the hill first.
A side trip to the long barn to see the cows again.
Here's a mom and three little ones.
This picture was taken at the other end of the barn.
The mountain pink is now blooming among the gravestones.
Would be nice if the color lasted longer than a couple of weeks.
The forsythia is not doing well around here this year.
Just a few yellow blooms but mostly just green leaves are starting to appear.
Continued walking around the other cemetery and then headed down the main road towards home.
Turned around and walked back to town and around a block in town and that completed my steps.

We left after breakfast and drove down to Lavale.
Checked out a new store called Rural King.
It is somewhat like Tractor Supply but much BIGGER with more stuff.
We roamed around in there for a while and bought a couple small things.
Since we were down there, instead of doing our food shopping at Walmart this week we shopped at Martin's.
Such a nice store that is brightly lit and has nice wide aisles.
We were back home for a late lunch and then just puttered about the house this afternoon.
I did my usual activities of knitting and reading.
Again it was a bit too windy for reading on the porch or walking outside and adding brush to my fence.
Having Tacos for supper in just a little while.
Hope you had a wonderful day.
Thanks for coming by.

Mary - The tracts are handed out anywhere and everywhere we go. I don't go on them but there are road trips (mostly the kids go) to different towns. Some people go house to house and leave them at the door. I've put them in stores in purses for sale or boxed things. So when people get home they find a tract in it. Also books for sale or even in library books. Really anywhere you can think of. It is only limited by your imagination.๐

Beautiful photos, Karen! I am so happy to see the cows! It is rainy quite a bit today here in Montreal, perfect for getting things done indoors, having a nice hot cup of tea as well!
Lovely to see the photograph of mom and the little ones.
All the best Jan
Rural King is a fun store and we have one not too far away.
Beautiful photos. I don't think I'll be getting blossoms on my forsythia this year either. There were a few near the bottom of the buses but it just looks like the are going all to green
