Mostly cloudy this morning with just a few peeks of sun.
Not so windy this time (at least not in the morning) and 60 degrees.
Sunrise 6:37
First I walked around the lower cemetery and then through town to the industrial park and walked all around in there.
Back through town and to the pond.
I found most of a penny. This coin has seen better days!!
Rebecca was out walking Lea but she was far away and didn't even see me.

This morning I went to church for Blankets.
We don't just make baby blankets anymore but for seniors as well and pillows too.
Small crowd today, just 7 of us.
I handed in a weave-it pillow for the seniors.
Home for a late lunch.
We had the left over meatloaf from last night on sandwiches.
My new fanny pack came in the mail today.
I got it for when I go walking.
Just big enough to hold my phone, key, tissue, piece of gum, and pepper spray.
That's all I have for today.
Hope you had a wonderful Thursday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Karen, You are so right about the penny. And it made me wonder … What are your thoughts about the end of the penny? The US Mint is no longer producing the penny. I know, on your walks, you have collected coins and I wonder if you have lots of pennies?
Hi Karen, here in Canada we did away with the penny years ago! Reason...it no longer has value. So everything is rounded up to the nearest dollar.
For example, if you purchase an item and the total is 2.63, it will be 2.65. If it is lower that 2.63, it will be 2.60.
To be quite honest, I don't miss the penny at all!
Your first photo is gorgeous, and I love your bag!
Another beautiful morning for you, even with the clouds. Here it's been raining again and many areas are flooding, roads washed out and dams failing.
Wonder what happened to that penny... Yesterday I thought of you when I found 2 dimes while out!
The bag is perfect for your walking.
Wonderful colours in your first photograph and yes, you are right about that penny seeing better days.
All the best Jan
...Karen, these days a penny won't buy much but, this one will buy even less.
We had more rain and thunderstorms today. Great fanny pack. Janice
I love your new fanny pack. That is so wonderful how you serve the babies and seniors. I love all the ways you serve~
I like the fanny pack color. And I adore cold meatloaf sandwiches! The sky is gorgeous, the yellow at the bottom turning into pink higher up.
Thank you so much for this beautiful morning sky.
It's a wonderful way to start the day.
I hope you enjoy your walks and I'm looking forward to seeing your sunrise photos.

Beautiful photos. That fanny pack is very useful. Nice to have something small to carry the necessities and keep your hands free.
Hello,
Beautiful sky capture. The fanny pack looks perfect.
Take care, enjoy your day and have a happy weekend.
I found the first penny I've found in a long time when we were out and about on Monday. It was all accounted for though. :)
Your pillow you did with weave it squares is so pretty.
Some of our stores here don't take pennies anymore. I like your pillow and your new fanny pack. Have a great Friday!
A simple but very grounded little day, and it is nice how you notice the small details along the way, from the weather and your walk route to something as unexpected as a worn penny. The blanket work at church gives it a thoughtful touch too, especially helping both babies and seniors. It all comes across as a steady, ordinary kind of day that still feels meaningful in its own quiet way.
That's a nice purple fanny pack! I can no longer open that kind of closure ( arthritis in my hands) so this week I bought a small camera case that has an easier type of closure. Just big enough for a few necessary things. I will get a lot of use from it I'm sure.
Love the bag, it's very pretty. And some elderly person is going to love their new pillow.
Beautiful skies.
