Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

 Happy Sunday

A hymn we sang at church this morning.

🎶 This World is Not My Home 🎶
Albert E Brumley

1. This world is not my home, I'm just a passing through
My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue;
The angels beckon me from heaven's open door,
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

Chorus:
O Lord, you know I have no friend like you,
If heaven's not my home, then Lord what will I do?
The angels beckon me from heaven's open door,
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

2. They're all expecting me, and that's one thing I know,
My Savior pardoned me and now I onward go;
I know He'll take me thro' tho' I am weak and poor,
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

3. I have a loving Savior up in glory-land,
I don't expect to stop until I with Him stand,
He's waiting now for me in heaven's open door,
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

4. Just up in glory-land we'll live eternally,
The saints on every hand are shouting victory,
Their songs of sweetest praise drift back from heaven's shore,
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

⛪️ Philippians 3:20 ⛪️
For our conversation is in heaven;
from whence also we look for the Saviour,
the Lord Jesus Christ:

Today was the day I wore the shawl I knitted to church to give it away to the first person who said they liked it.
The person I gave it to was Heidi. She said, I love your shawl. The colors are beautiful.  I said here it's yours.  I wish you could have seen her face!!

A Blessed Sunday to you.

I can only imagine Heidi's reaction. What a wonderful surprise that must have been for her. That's such a fun way to give something away.

I'm memorizing Philippians 3 currently and loved that the verse you used today is from that chapter.

How special that the person who received your shawl loved it.
