Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Inside today

At 1 degree this morning, very windy, and snowing it was no time to be walking outside so had an inside walk today.

No one wanted to leave their house to venture out in this weather so stitching was cancelled for today.
A little while later we got word that the library was closed anyway.

It was a good day to hunker down and stay inside by a nice warm fire.

I made weave-it squares.
Making baby blanket for friends granddaughter.

Read
Ken read The Judge's list and liked it so I'm reading it too.
The Comfort of Crows is for my book club next week.
Was reading Comfort of Crows and started The Judge's List which I like
better so the other book got put on hold.

Worked on the puzzle.

Knitted
Making two blue pillows to put on the old church pew in the living room.

That pretty much took up my day.
It was a nice cozy day inside.
Hope your Saturday was a good one.
Thanks for coming by.

What a perfectly cozy day! Do you find that weaving, knitting, and reading all at once create the ultimate comfort combo, or do you prefer one of these activities for snowy days? I love how productive and peaceful your inside day sounds. I hope your weekend is filled with warmth, creativity, and small joys. I just shared a new travel post too, and you’re invited to peek: www.melodyjacob.com.

Looks like a warm and cozy time indoors.
I stayed in today and got laundry done. I also cleaned and organized my apartment.
It was -18 Celsius. It is supposed to be -25 tonight.

The Comfort Of Crows is one of my favorite books ever! Where is the fireplace, stone wall, and lights? It is gorgeous!! I love this soft shade of blue.
