Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Cleared

Left a couple of my layers off this morning because the temperature was 40 degrees!
A cloudy sky and no wind.

A nice walk around town up and down all the side streets.
I got to walk around the ball park loop this time because the path is clear from ice and snow.
The chickens were nowhere to be seen.

Stopped at the post office and mailed a birthday card to a friend.
I was also able to walk around the cemetery up on the hill and went around there a couple of times.
So much of the snow is gone now!!
I'm sure it will be back again though, it is only February!!

This morning was the first one that I heard all the birds chirping as I walked.
What a lovely sound!!!!  It's a happy sound.

☁️    😊    🥾

Finished the weave-it baby blanket this afternoon.
Now I can give it to Marilyn tomorrow at Blankets.
You can see it HERE.

Didn't do much of anything else.
Played around with my Kindle and downloaded a couple more books.
The next book to read for my book club is The Brier Club by Anina Collins.
Was going to put it on reserve at the library but there were already 2 people ahead of me.
Went to KindleUnlimited and there it was, so it is now on my Kindle!!

Supper tonight is meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and corn.

Hope you had a wonderful day and thanks for coming by.

It was quite warm here this morning, so I wore only a light jacket. I felt as light as a bird. The peepers in the marsh have been quite vocal as of late. They think it is spring.

...today's rain melted a lot of snow, but next week we go into the deepfreeze again. Stay well.

Glad to see that your snow is melting and you are able to walk everywhere.

The birds have been chirping up a storm here lately. Love those sounds. It was foggy rainy day today. Janice

It looked very similar here. The temp made it to 58 and lots of snow melted. I went for a walk outside and heard the birds chirping too. Such a lovely sound!
I like the blanket and you're right, the name of the yarn is perfect for a baby girl.
Glad that book was on Kindle Unlimited. If it's good I should download it too.

Hooray for cleared snow. It was around 40 here this morning but it was raining.
The baby blanket looks great.

I'm loving these warmer temperatures. I missed the sunshine today but enjoyed a restful day with the misty fog.

The blanket is so nice, Karen. You have such a generous heart.

I've been enjoying listening to the birds chirping and singing in the mornings as I am spending time with the Lord. So peaceful.
