Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Tuesday

The temperature was 30 degrees this morning when I got to town for my walk.
The sky was clear and once the sun rose it was sunny.
Sunrise 7:06
About a half hour before sunrise is when the sky starts to brighten up.

I walked all over town up and down all the side streets and once again as I passed the library put a couple of books and DVD's down the drop.

Went to see the bulls down at the barn across from the Drane house.

Someone plowed the path around the ball park loop but what melted yesterday  froze overnight, so I passed on walking there because it looked pretty slippery.

I haven't seen any other walkers out in the morning for such a long time.

☀️    🥾    😊

We went food shopping at Walmart this morning.
Since last week everything as been changed around and they were continuing to move things around as we shopped.
Nothing was where it was supposed to be.
Ken was getting more and more annoyed when I told him, that if that was the only thing we had to worry about today we would have a great day.
His attitude changed. 🙂
It helps to put things in perspective.

I made weave-its this afternoon.
Trying to get this baby blanket done by Thursday so I can give it to my friend Marilyn for her great granddaughter who will arrive this spring.
I'll see Marilyn at Blankets on Thursday.
Just have 7 more squares to go.
Shouldn't have any problem finishing this evening or tomorrow..

Hope you all had a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.

Our perspective really does make a difference, doesn't it? But, honestly, if that had been Carroll and I, he would have been Ken and I would have been you. :)

A beautiful sunrise, but with the snow and slippery conditions keep taking care when you go outside.

All the best Jan

That's a beautiful sunrise.
I do hate when they change stores around. But I like your perspective!
