Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Heel Inserts

I had planned on walking this morning but woke up
to pouring rain and it was VERY WINDY.
Figured not a good day to start up again.
Maybe God telling me to take another day to rest that heel.

Ken asked if I would bake some Molasses Cookies
so I did that this morning.

Got the sheets washed and dried and then did another load of laundry.

Started another puzzle.
In the process of laying out all the pieces and doing the border.

I got another pair of the heel inserts for my shoes in the mail today.
I think once my heel doesn't hurt at all (still hurts a bit when I walk)
these inserts will work fine and keep my heels from hurting again.
They are nice and cushiony.

I made us a Chicken Pot Pie for supper.
It was very good but takes quite a while to make with having to make
the crust too.
I can see why I don't make it very often.

Finished one of the slippers I'm knitting for myself.
One down, one to go.
Not going to knit on that this evening though.
I really want to get the throw blanket done for Dale.

That's it for this post.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you had a wonderful day.

I thought about you this morning and hoped you weren't outside walking. That wind would have picked you up.

I'm glad your heel is starting to do some better. I'm praying that it won't be long until it doesn't bother you at all when there's pressure applied.

I made a homemade chicken pot pie once and it was good, but took more time than I wanted. I wish someone would make it for me.
You're a fast knitter which is good! Like your new heels -

I made a homemade chicken pot pie on Saturday. Hoping the heel inserts work for you. Very windy here for the past two nights. Also snowed most of the day so with the wind and the snow made it difficult to drive in. So glad I was able to stay home. Janice

I hope those inserts help your heel. I'm sorry it's still bothering you.
The chicken pot pie sounds very good but I sure can understand the work that goes into it. Have a Happy New Year!
