Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Thursday

When I walked this morning it was 46 degrees.
No wind and once the sun came up there was a mix of sun and clouds.

Walked all around town again under the street lights till it was
light enough to walk around the cemeteries.
As I passed the library, dropped off a DVD.

Went over to the long barn to see the cows,
but the gate was closed.
They must be going to move some cows out or in.

Heading back to the cemetery from the long barn.

Instead of walking back through town to the ball park
I walked over to Sale Barn Road and went up there a ways.

Walking back I saw Liz on her way to work in her new 2025 blue
Ford Maverick truck which she got Tuesday.

The only person I saw was Rebecca walking Leo up at the cemetery.

🌤    🍁    🥾

Put some chicken in the crock pot with BBQ sauce this morning.

Ken had a doctors appointment today so we drove out to Oakland for that.
Nothing wrong just the yearly checkup
and everything was fine.
I took along some yarn and made some weave-its while I waited.

By the time we got home I didn't feel like doing any work
so read outside on the deck. 😊

Shredded the chicken and we are going to make
chicken burritos for supper.

Hope you had a fantastic day.
Thanks for stopping by.
❤️ HappyK 🤗

I’m one of those people you have to watch,
or I’ll wander off into the Yarn aisle and forget to come back!

Glad that Ken's check up went well. Your quote at the end made me chuckle.
