Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Wednesday

52 degrees this morning for walking and clear, no wind.
The sun rose at 7:13 and about 7:30 it came over the mountain.
Walked all around the streets in town with street lights.
Then when it got light enough, walked around both of
the cemeteries and the ball park a couple of times.

KitCat came running over to me and I gave him a pet and talked to him.
I talked, he meowed.
The bulls were down by the Drane house and
the chickens were scattered all around their yard.

Kerry was out walking around the ball park the same time as me.
Her friend quit walking because she is about to have a baby and
has 4 others at home!!
God Bless her.

Passed by the house from yesterday to see how much work got done.
I couldn't see any progress at all.
They must have been inside doing some work.
Saw all the trucks and workers arrive this morning again as I was leaving.

Did a couple more loads of laundry and got them out on the line.
Cleaned the bathroom and did a little dusting.

Didn't do all that much after lunch.
Read some and started a new knitting project.
I should finish the ones I have started before starting another
but it is nice to have several things going at the same time.
You can pick and choose what you feel like working on.

That's all I have for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your Wednesday was a good one.

Like your photos today. I have a bad habit of starting new projects before I finish the old ones. I usually have several going.

I smiled at your comment on the friend who has 4 children and is expecting another. She needs the blessing of the Lord.

Hi Karen! Fall is beautiful in your area. Sure wish I were a knitter. I can crochet, but haven't for years. Glad you had a good Wednesday! See you again tomorrow!

Love the quote at the end about patience and knitting. Your pictures are always so nice. Today I especially like the one at the pond.
