Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Fall Leaves

No drizzly rain this morning but a nice cold crisp clear one.
39 degrees and no wind.
Sunrise 7:28

Walked up and down and around town under the street lights.

Then walked over to the doctors office to get my blood work done.
Very convenient for me.
Every Thursday the office is open for blood work from 7-10 in the morning.
It's on a first come first serve basis.
I'm out walking anyway so I walk past the office and when there
are no cars in the parking lot I go in and I'm out in 5 minutes.
Then just continue my walk.

I continued walking around both of the cemeteries.

The corn as been cut down on all the fields around the cemeteries.

I saw Rebecca out walking up by the cemetery.

☀️    🎃    🍁

Blanket and pillow day making at church this morning.
Ken came along this month because he had some work to do at church
while I met with the ladies.
Small number of us this month, only 7.

I brought the weave-it pillow today and once I got there
stuffed it with the polly fill and then sewed it up.
I've posted it on my other blog and you can see it

By the time we got back home didn't feel like doing any work so
walked around the house outside and took some pretty Fall pictures.

Ken and I played a game of Chinese checkers which he won soundly!!

The rest of the afternoon I read and knitted.
A beautiful sunny day but a bit too chilly to be sitting on the porch.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hope you had a great Thursday.

Wonderful Fall colors. I walked out to my back yard full of fallen leaves...yet we do not have any trees in our backyard. The wind must have blew them all in. Janice
