It was a clear frosty morning walk with a temperature of 31 degrees.
Sunrise 7:29
Like every morning I walked around and up and down town
under the street lights.
When it was light enough I walked around both of the cemeteries.
There was a little pile of corn that must have
fallen out of the truck in the field.
I took a couple of handfuls and wrapped them in a paper towel.
(use them as tissues)
Took the corn home and put it out back for the deer.
Tomorrow I'm going to bring a container and get some more.
Took two pictures of the pond at different times and couldn't
decide which on I liked better so here are both of them.
Didn't see anyone else out.
☀️ 🎃 🐄 🍁
We had pancakes for breakfast.
I made a big batch and put some in the freezer.
Got one load of clothes hung out on the line.
As another load was getting washed,
we went to the dump to drop off some trash.
Hung the second load out when we got back.
Did a few things around the house and then had some
time once again to read and knit.
MY ABC'S

Sometimes pictures, sometimes just words but it will be something about me.
F is for FAINTING
Though I haven't done it in a long time I have been known
to faint when getting blood drawn.
This idea came to me for F when I was getting blood drawn yesterday.
Here's my fainting story.
We were living in Scotland on the Navy base and I went to Medical
to have some blood work done.
Went to the lab down the hall and the door to the lab was one
of those doors that the top part opens.
I was standing at the door and the corpsman told me
to rest my arm on the door.
I told him I have fainted before getting blood drawn and
shouldn't I come in and sit down.
He said, No, you'll be fine.
I said o k a y!
I felt the needle go in and the next thing I knew
I woke up laying down on a cot.
The corpsman got a talking to and I'm sure he had
people sitting down from then on.
By the way, my blood work came back already
and Thank the Lord all is good.
So that's all for today.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hope your Friday was a super good one.
❤️ HappyK 🤗
A couple of you mentioned the weave-it pillow yarn looked like denim and that reminded me I forgot to say what the name of the yarn was. I got a chuckle out of the name. It's called Saturday Night Blue Jeans.

Hi Karen, your photos and reflections are lovely. The cows 🐄 are always a huge joy 😊 for me to see. I am sure your deer 🦌 visitors will appreciate your kind 😇 gesture of the corn.
I am glad the blood work came back fine.
I got my flu and Covid vaccines yesterday.
The two pond photographs are lovely, both have beautiful reflections.
So pleased your blood work results were good :)
All the best Jan
Beautiful reflections in your photos. Great results for your blood work. When I was a kid, I used to faint whenever I got shots. I'm used to them now and the don't bother me. :)
Both of the pictures are beautiful. Loved the Fainting story. I bet the corpseman had people sitting down after your incident. And that pillow is my favorite one so far. It does look like denim.
...Karen, your frost morning look magical.
Your two reflection photos are gorgeous! And I would have had to post both as well. I think my favorite is the second one, though. Because the trees way at the back are such a rich yellow! what a great idea about the corn! I tend to faint, but not when giving blood.
What a story you have to tell about fainting! I know I feel faint when I have blood drawn especially when it's 6 vials, but I've never actually fainted. Good to know your recent blood work was all good.
I like the two pictures of the pond.
Thankfully you did not hit your head when you fell. That is scary. I dont like giving blood because I have tiny veins. They have to use a very fine needle on me. Janice
