Walked up and down and all around town.
Ended up by the DG Market where I turned around and went
back through town and out the other end.
Walked toward home a ways before turning around again.
Lastly walked around the cemetery on the hill a couple of times.
I brought a couple of small containers with me
and filled them with some of the corn I saw yesterday.
I'll put it out back for the deer.
When I got to town at 6:30 people were already there getting
things set up.
I saw Rebecca out walking Leo up at the cemetery.
Don't find many coins while I'm walking anymore but today
in the laundromat parking lot I found a quarter.

Off to the library I went after breakfast to do some
knitting with the ladies.
5 of us there today.
I worked on one of the throws I'm knitting
for David and Liz for Christmas.
I'd like to knit them each one but hope I don't run out of time!!!
A couple of young men were at the library to give a talk
about some of the wild life around our area.
They brought along a painted turtle, a frog, and a salamander.
Also some skulls of various animals.
Bear, beaver, mink, raccoon, ground hog and some others.
Should have taken a picture of it all but didn't think of it.
We all stayed for that after knitting.
Was very interesting and I learned a few things.
That's going to be it for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your Saturday was a happy one.

...what a way to start your day!
A stunning sky, what a beauty!
Beautiful colors in the sunrise. I like church bazaars, I used to shop at them when I needed items. Now at age 80 I am decluttering!
What a wonderful colour sky that is.
All the best Jan
Dear Karen, your first photo is gorgeous! I love church bazaars and bake sales, you can find some great things at a very fair price!
I love reptiles like turtles and salamanders...iguanas as well, and frogs, I have always found them fascinating.
Beautiful sky pictures. The display at the library must have been interesting.
I love how your walk through town naturally flows into all those small, meaningful moments: filling the little containers with corn for the deer, And then the cozy morning at the library — full of yarn, animals, and stories. π§Άπ’
