More great walking weather, 49 degrees and sunny.
First walked around town and up and down the side streets.
Then around both of the cemeteries
with a side trip over to the long barn to see if any cows were in the barn.
The little one in the first picture has a patch over his eye.
I'll have to ask Farmer Marvin what the problem is when I see him.
I got a kick out of the cow in the second picture how he buries
his whole head in the hay.
Guess the hay tastes better there.
Didn't see anyone else out walking this morning.
Think I've discovered why they demolished the addition on that house.
They didn't put a proper foundation before building it.
I see now, that has been corrected and a footing has been dug
and the concrete poured.
☀️ 🚶♀️ 🍁
We went outside this morning and put a little gravel around the
edge of the driveway that we had paved.
The edges were a little rough so now it looks tidy.
Then we tidied up around by the propane tank.
Pulled weeds and dumped some gravel there.
Makes it easier for the guy to fill the tank.
Enjoyed the rest of the day reading and knitting.
I've done a few different series of pictures on Fridays in times past
and going to start another series today.
This one is going to be called,
My ABC'S
Sometimes pictures, sometimes just words but it will be something about me.
Today I start with A
A IS FOR ATTIC
Attic is a room just below the roof of a building.
Both of my grandmothers had an attic in their house where all kinds
of neat stuff was stored.
My moms mother had the better one though.
There were old toys, furniture that wasn't wanted any more,
old clothes, shoes, and much more and it was all jumbled up.
One thing was some kind of big stuffed bird under a glass dome
that fascinated me when I was a kid.
It was a treat to go up in the attic and look around.
You had to go up steep steps to get to the attic and
it had that attic smell, old and musty which I liked.
Wonder what happened to all that stuff.
That's all I have for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you had a wonderful Friday.

...it's always cheaper to do the job right the first time!
Glad that there's a proper foundation this time.
I really enjoyed reading about Attic and your memories from when you were able kid.
That's supposed to be a kid...not able kids. Gotta love auto correct.😂
Karen, isn't it wonderful to have beautiful comfortable temperatures to enjoy ♥️ our walks?
As always, I love your photos and the cows 🐄 are adorable and precious.
Thank you so much for sharing.
What a clever idea with your ABCs. I would have loved that attic you describe.
I had two big attics filled with all kinds of stuff in my last house. I'm so glad I no longer have any of it now.
