Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Chicks aren't so little anymore

Another one of those nice sunny morning walks.
53 degrees and calm.
Sunrise 6:57

Walked all around town with a stop at the post office to mail a card.
Continued on over to the DG Market and walked up and down
the street behind the market.

Then it was back around town and around the ball park loop a few times.
Haven't the baby chicks gotten big!?
They are always fun to watch.

I saw Lena and Rebecca walking together.
They are mother and daughter but rarely walk together.
I find most walkers prefer walking alone as I do.

Told Lena I'd see her later this morning at the library for stitching.

Sheila was around town but didn't see her again,
just her car in the parking lot.

☀️    🥾    🍁

Only 4 of us at the library this morning for stitching.
Two of the ladies were on vacation.

Walked around our property a bit this afternoon.
In summer it gets so overgrown and buggy that it isn't fun to walk around.
Now though every thing is dying off so it will be nice to walk
in the woods again soon.

That's all for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you had a grand Saturday.

It is different here. Most ladies like a walking partner. the chicks are the same size as the adults!

The chicks have really grown. I love to watch chickens...and cackle back at them (only I call it talking to them) :)

Glad you were able to get out and walk around your property this afternoon. The seasons are definitely beginning to change. The Maple tree in the second picture is pretty with its bright red leaves on.

Have a wonderful day in the Lord at church tomorrow, my friend.
