Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Dehydrated Parsley

Happy to say another sunny beautiful morning walk.
48 degrees and no wind.
Sunrise 6:55

Walked around the lower cemeteryto start.
KitKat was there and walked half way around with me.

Met John coming down from the other cemetery as I was going up.
Stopped for a little chat.
When I walked around the cemetery I saw that John had left
a message on the mirror this time.
It said,
Good Morning
I added a smiling face and a heart to it.

Next I headed down the main road back towards home
but took a detour up and down part of Barn Sale Rd.
Doesn't look it in the picture but it is quite a trek up the hill.

Nice coming back down again.

When I got back down to the main road turned left and went
towards home a bit and then another turn around and
walked back to town.

Walked around a couple of blocks in town and then back to the pond.

I saw Kerry out walking.
Sheila's car was in the parking lot but never saw her.

☀️    🐈    🚶‍♀️

Got another load of laundry hung out on the line.

I've been growing a parsley plant in my little garden.
Today I decided to harvest it and put it in my air fryer
using the dehydrate setting.
After picking it off the plant I washed it, picked the leaves off the stems.
Patted it with paper towels and then set them out to dry.

Then it was time to put it in the air fryer.
Placed the parsley in a single layer on the tray.
Put the basket over it to hold the parsley down so it wouldn't blow around.
Set the temperature at 135 degrees for 2 hours.
Had to make it in two batches.
It turned out great!!!

I put it an air tight container.
I'm going to give Liz some too.

The other night we watched the movie 39 Steps on a DVD
that we got from the library.
Thought we were getting the Alfred Hitchcock version but it was a different one.
So today we picked up the Alfred Hitchcock one from the library
and will watch that one tonight.
The first one was kind of corny but we enjoyed it.
Will be nice to compare the two movies.

That's going to be it for today.
Hope you enjoyed your Thursday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Never have tried to preserve herbs. I have a lot of Italian parsley growing too.

You had beautiful views again today on your walk.
I am going to use my air fryer to dehydrate some basil. Better get at that soon!
