Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Wednesday

This morning when I went walking it was 64 degrees.
Some fog around and cloudy with a bit of a breeze.

Walked around the upper cemetery first.
Over to and around the long barn.
Horses and bulls together today in the pasture by the Drane house.

Next I walked around the other cemetery and then down the
main road towards home again.
Back to town and up and down the main road.
Got all my steps in before I ever made it to the ball park.

Only saw RuthAnn out walking her two little dogs.

🌫    ☁️    😊

Thanks Tom for identifying the yellow flowers from yesterday.
Hypericum Calycinum
Also called
St John's Wort, Creeping John's Wort, or Aaron's Beard.

🌼    🌼

Last week at Fingerprints the cutter was giving us a bit of trouble at times.
A little switch needs replacing.
After breakfast we made another trip to church and Ken got the part out.
While he was doing that I was going to walk over to my friend
Bettye's house for a visit.
Unfortunately she wasn't home.

On the way home we stopped in at the library to pick up a couple
of books and another DVD that we had on reserve.

My little raised garden out back is doing pretty good now.
There are at least a dozen little green cherry tomatoes starting,
several little green big tomatoes and 6 green peppers.
The dill and parsley and doing great!!

David and Liz came by after work and joined us
for supper eating the Eggplant Parmesan that Ken made.
Yummy!!

No church this evening.
Tomorrow instead where it will be an outside service and later
when it's dark you can see the town fireworks from church.
I'm not going to go though.

Hope you had a wonderful Wednesday.
Thanks for stopping by.

My mom used to make a delicious eggplant parmigiana. I make it and it’s good but she had that right touch.

I was going to see if I could watch your Wednesday service on Facebook but will try again next week. We will be out of town on Sunday. Glad that your little garden is doing well and that you had another nice day. The Eggplant Parmesan sounds good!
