Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

To Bedford

60 degrees this morning with sun and clouds for my walk.
Started out walking up and down the main road in town
and some side streets.
Then around the ball park and both of the cemeteries.

This is where the road is getting worked on in town.
Plates are over the big hole that was dug.
Work is suppose to end today.
Again, they had not started yet by the time I was done walking.

Boxes at the back of the Post Office waiting to be brought inside.

Passing by one of the day care centers in town I saw Kaitlyn,
our dental hygienist dropping her daughter off.
I stopped to say hi.

Walking around the cemetery I saw Kerry.
She was the one who was having the contest with her friend to see who
could walk the farthest in a week and the winner got $5.
I asked if she won the $5.
She did by a long shot - she walked 10 miles farther.

At the cemetery a worker was trimming all around the gravestones
before mowing.
It is nice that the cemeteries are kept neat and tidy.

Made pancakes for breakfast
and soon after breakfast we hopped in the truck and made our way
to Bedford, Pa to drop off the completed boxed up Romans books
and picked up more scriptures to assemble.
They are printed here at Beacon of Truth and this is inside of the warehouse.

Here's the trailer after we loaded it up for the ride back home.
Nice that we had 2 others helping unload and load again.

On the way home we stopped once again at Wendy's like we always
do and had spicy chicken sandwiches for lunch.

We thank God for a safe trip there and back.

Knitted this afternoon for a while.

And that's been my day.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hope your day went well.

Deb - Yes, I'm still knitting on the temperature blanket each day.  Since it was getting so long, I'm actually making two of them.  One for the first half of the year and the other for the second half. ๐Ÿงถ

Connie - My walking shoes don't last a year. ๐Ÿฅพ I ware them out in about 4 or 5 months.

Hi Karen, we have Wendy's here in Montreal, but the spicy chicken would probably be too hot ๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿฅต for me. Glad ๐Ÿ˜Š you enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing your life here ❤️

Lovely summer clouds in the first picture. Great that there's time for your walk and breakfast before you have to leave for Bedford.

I love me a Wendy's Frosty but do not go there that often. Too far away. I usually just get a cheeseburger when I do go. Nice you were able to go and yes that warehouse is a big one. Janice

Glad that you had a safe trip to and from Bedford and your sky picture is wonderful. Love the clouds! What a blessing that the cemetery is kept up so nicely. So many these days are not.

That's a lot of weed wacking around all those stones. How nice, though. Glad you made it there and back again safely with helpful loaders and unloaders, too!

That seems like a busy but nice day!! Our Wendy's is a little bit down the road in Pasadena, so we don't visit there often.
