Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Walk, Work, Relax

When I walked in town this morning it was a mix of sun and clouds,
the temperature was 65 degrees and it was calm.
Sunrise 6:09

Walked around both cemeteries first thing a few times.
Then through town and up and down some side streets.
Around the ball park and back to the pond.

Looking down toward the long barn.

Behind the Drane house there were a few bulls.

Some very long rows of roll covered hay bales.
There are 3 rows like this.

I saw three people out walking.
Lena, who I stopped to talk to.
Rebecca, who is Lena's daughter was out walking Leo.
Kerry was out there too.
I saw all three of them at the cemetery but all at different times.

On the way back home I saw three deer a block from my house.
Had to stop for each one as they crossed the road
and they weren't in a hurry.

🦌     πŸŒ€    🌻

After breakfast did a quick few things around the house and
then off we went to church for a day of
working doing Fingerprints.
We worked with a skeleton crew this time.
A few workers are better than no workers
and those of us there had a good time of working and fellowship.

Nice to be home now to enjoy a relaxing evening.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hope you had an enjoyable day.

What a nice day. The bulls look curious and want to know what's up. :)

I love the one of the bulls behind the Drane house too, so pretty in the early morning light.

Loving all the photos you shared today. I agree, just a few workers is better than none and at least you still enjoyed the time with the ones that were there.

I like the photo with the corn growing at the side of the road like a hedge. I don’t see that around here. Love the bulls! πŸ‚
