Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Foggy

My walk this morning was a foggy one and 67 degrees.
Walked around both cemeteries once and then down the main
road towards home and back to town.
Continued through town and around the ball park loop.
The rest of my walk was around town.

Rebecca was out walking Leo and didn't see any one else.

A few foggy photos from my walk.

Looking toward the long barn I couldn't even see it.

Over by the library some nice bright impatiens in pots.

There were a whole lot of grass spider webs around the ball park.

We took off after breakfast and went shopping at Walmart.
Had a couple of DVD's we had to pick up at the library so stopped
there on the way home.
Once there we realized that it was only 10:30
and it doesn't open till 11:00 so we went back later in the afternoon.

We've been watching a British show, Detectorists
which we are enjoying.
It's about a couple of guys and their metal detectors.
Emily, one of the librarians recommended it.
There are only 3 seasons and we picked up the last one today.

I came back from the library with three books so read
a while this afternoon.
Also finished knitting the baby hat.

We had macaroni and cheese and a salad for supper.

Hope you enjoyed your Tuesday and
Thanks for stopping by.

I like the moodiness of the fog. We have had a couple days of it.

I love fog, and I grew up in it. And those haunting sounds of distant fog horns! Growing up on the coast, I often drifted off to sleep, pondering what intriguing mysteries were concealed within the night’s fog. It’s a captivating atmosphere that truly makes the city and coastline unforgettable! Fog even smells good! I miss it.
Your stunning fog photos remind me of my recent smoke photos, which I haven't shared yet. There's a unique beauty in smoke that reminds me of fog.

Hi Karen. I love the fog pictures. It's so exciting that you are getting a new baby in your family. Babies are always a blessing. Glad you had another good day. See you again tomorrow!

Fog creates a whole new world in which to walk; something I rather enjoy. I love your foggy morning pictures.

Hi Karen, I do love fog and rain photos! Sounds like you had a lovely walk and a nice day! Yesterday and today the temperatures here in Montreal hit 40 Celsius (or 104 Fahrenheit). Not a good day for a walk, or anything outdoors. As well, the air quality here is very bad as well, we had warnings from a doctor on the news about this.
Thank you so much for sharing what is happening with you and your lovely photos. :)

I like the fog pictures especially the third one.
I haven't had macaroni and cheese in a really long time. Sounds good.

...those puddles look inviting, it's so host and dry here. Be careful walking in the magical fog.

You really did have a lot of fog. The impatiens are such a pretty bright spot in the foggy morning.
We like a lot of different British shows, but I haven't heard of that one.

We loved the Detectorists!!!! There are a couple seasons, and a movie also. I love their theme song as well. Your fog photos are beautiful. I can see the silence.
