Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Farm Loop Walk

Started out a little foggy in places but then had a mix
of sun and clouds.
 67 degrees and calm.

It was a farm loop walk this morning for me.

Pictures along my way.

The building to the right is in the industrial park.
Straight ahead is town and I've just walk from there.

I'm by the school here.
You can see the church where my Jeep is parked
and right in the middle of the picture is one of the cemeteries.

It was a delightful walk.
Don't usually meet anyone along this route and it was the same today.
I did see a few deer along the way and more deer on my drive home.

🚜    🐐    🐄    🦌

Worked outside in the morning.
Took a couple strawberry plants out of the raised garden
and put them in pots.

Also did a bit of weeding.

Good thing I went outside in the morning because we had more
thunder storms pass through this afternoon.
This sure has been a rainy summer for us!!!

I started reading a Miss Reed book, Fresh From the Country.
Always enjoy one of her books.

I've posted the bulky colorful throw on my
MadeByHappyK blog.
You can see it

Hope you had a great Thursday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Lovely photos of your walk. It was beautiful in Montreal today and I took a long walk and will share the photos I took of this walk in my blog posts after the St. Helen's Island series.
How nice you got to meet some 🦌 deer.

A summer morning is just perfect for a walk!
I love that blanket. The colors are so cheerful and I really like all the different stitches.
It's been an exceedingly dry summer here. Yesterday we finally had 1/2 inch of rain. Prior to that we had a total of 1 inch since June. We were so happy to see rain yesterday.

Hi Karen. I love the pictures from your walk today. It looks just lovely. I have four Miss Read books and I am wondering if they can be read out of order. I would like to read them, but don't have the first one in the series. The colorful throw is really beautiful! See you again tomorrow!

That is a Miss Read book that I'm not familiar with. Is it about Fairacre or Thrush Green? If you enjoy it post about it. I can order it from Amazon.

What was your sunrise on this last day of July? Ours was at 5:39

Oh my gosh, that colorful throw is GORGEOUS, HappyK!!! WOW!!! I love it!! The pictures from your walks are always so beautiful too. Thank you for posting them. I sure wish I could walk like that...but my knees would NOT have it. I think I'd be a little afraid too, walking alone on such long stretches of road. But that's just me. Love, Andrea xoxo

Great pics from you walk, I really love the barn. Health issues keep me from walking so I enjoy walking with you through your pictures. I went over and looked at your new throw, it's so pretty. I like the colors. Hope you have a great August.
