53 degrees this morning when I started walking in town.
It was calm with a mix of sun and clouds.
Sunrise 5:49
First walked down the main road back towards home a ways before
turning around the walking back to town.
Then it was around both of the cemeteries.
Continued through town, around the ball park loop and back to the
Jeep and the end of my walk.
Just a couple of cows left in the log barn down the other end from here.
The goslings are getting so big.
They are getting adult coloring already.
Nice to see Shiela out running.
She has been out most days but at different times so we don't see each other.
Walking past the post office I saw the woman who owns
Lavender Farm just outside of town.
We stopped for a little chat.
She told me the lavender will be in bloom next week.
🌤 🥾 🙂
Today both Ken and I had the dreaded appointment at the
dentist for our 6 month cleaning and check-up.
I always go first to get it over with.
Happy to say all went well and I don't have to go back again for 6 months.
Not so for Ken.
He has to go back to get a filling replaced.
While it was Ken's turn at the dentist I took a walk to the
antique and collectables store in town.
I have quite a few blue and white Wedgewood pieces
from the 70's that I got when we lived in Scotland.
I asked Lynn if she would buy them or take them on consignment.
She does do that sometimes she but didn't want the Wedgewood
because it doesn't sell.
But she did take my name and number and said she would call
if anyone asks about it.
While I was there I looked around and found a couple things to buy.
Measuring cups and a three candles.
Though I do like the candles I bought them because I like what they are in.
From there I walked to the library.
Picked up a DVD for Ken and then
I walked back to the dentist and Ken was just getting out.
I put a couple of my ceramic birds out by the bird feeder thinking
maybe they would attract other birds.
Didn't happen.
We had chicken salad sandwiches on toast for supper.
I picked some fresh parsley and dill out of the garden to put in it.
Hope you enjoyed your Wednesday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Your supper sounds great. Nice to see the Canada geese again. I like the measuring cups and candles you bought.
...lavender farms have become very popular, we have several in the area.
No lavender farms around here, so I envy you having one close by. I can't imagine how wonderful the smell is.
Nice that you can pick fresh parsley and dill out of your garden.
All the best Jan
That first photo is stunning!
We have a lavender farm not far from us, I visited it with my sister last year. So pretty and smells wonderful.
I had my 6 month dental appt last week. No cavities for me either.
I like what those candles are in too.
Supper sounds good!
Are you going to use the candle containers for some other purpose in the future? I really like the measuring cups! We have one DG Market, maybe 45 minutes away. I went there today and every time I do; I think of you.
The goslings are getting big and so fast. I wonder why the Wedgewood doesn’t sell?
I looked it up and they are valuable and are selling high. So I don’t get why she wouldn’t want to sell it. 🤷♀️
The measuring cups are so different; very inspiring for the cook :)
Fun items you picked up from the store in town. I like those containers, too. How fun to go out to your gardens for your fresh dill and parsley. By now you are probably fast asleep and I'm headed to bed now, too. Sweet Dreams!
I use to sell enamel cookware sets like that in our gift shop. I sometimes miss that store. Glad the dentist appt went well for you both. I have horrible teeth. Janice
What a shame that the Wedgewood wasn't something that the lady thought would sell. But how precious that they are pieces that you bought when you were living in Scotland. I like the measuring cups and candles that you bought...the candles especially for the containers they are in.
Love that first picture. Too bad about the Wedgewood. That's the same problem I have with a baseball collection I found while cleaning out the basement. They are all from an era that's considered worthless in baseball cards. Hopefully will be able to get rid of some at my yard sale.
I like your photos, very pretty scenes.
The measuring cup and candles look like great purchases.
Take care, enjoy your day!
NO idea where you live, BUT here in NYS, Wedgewood sells well!! I love looking through it at the many antique stores when I go out to central NY or up in the mountains. it's lovely. Weird that it doesn't sell where you are.
Lovely photos! adorable measuring cups and candles.
I do like those candle containers!
