Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Maybe the Robins?

60 degrees this morning with a mix of sun and clouds for walking.
Sunrise 5:49

Another DVD to drop off at the library so walked there first.
Returning the first season of

Walked over to the industrial park and walked all around in there.
It's really a nice place to walk.
No traffic, quiet, and lots of birds around.

Went back through town and by the time I got to the Jeep
had all my steps walked.

Saw John out walking Prim this morning.
No one else about.

🌤    🌸    🙂

More laundry out on the line this morning and got a lot
of that never ending housework done too.

I may have found a reason why birds haven't been coming to the feeder.
We have a few Robins nests around the house with babies.
I read that Robins are very aggressive and will chase away other birds
from around their territory and even around feeders.
Once the baby robins leave we won't let them build any more nests.
Though that may be easier said than done!!

I used the left over spaghetti from last nights supper and
made Baked Spaghetti for supper today.
A nice green salad went along with it.

That's all I have for today.
Hope you had a great day and
Thanks for stopping by.

Debby - No, Farmer Marvin doesn't grow vegetables, just corn and soy beans for animal feed.  Though there are no farmers markets in town there are many of them all around.

That temperature, 60 degrees, is great for a nice long walk! Your photos are beautiful and so nice to see the Canada geese still around. Your baked spaghetti and green salad sounds like a lovely dinner!

...I didn't know that about robins!

Interesting about the robins! I had a good walk and then put laundry on the line. Great minds think alike.

Those baby geese are growing. Pretty flowers.
I like the way you change up your leftovers. I try to do that too.

Glad you had a good walk today and that you were able to get more laundry on the line today. Yay for sunshine and gentle breezes.

Robins are a lot more aggressive than most people realize.Hopefully once the baby Robins have fledged your feeder will have more birds coming to eat.

Did not know that about Robins. I know swallows can be aggressive...even to humans when a nest is around. I know this first hand. Janice

The robins are asking batman to defend them.

God bless.

I would believe that about robins. There must be a nest somewhere in my back yard. When I let Gibbs out there is a robin that fakes injury to try and get his attention. It drives him crazy, he barks non stop which in turn drives me crazy...lol

Love the view of the pond and the flowers.
The baked spaghetti sounds good.
Luckily I do not have Robins nesting here.
The cardinals can be aggressive too.
Take care, have a great day!
