A calm morning, mostly cloudy but did see a bit of sun and 45 degrees.
I had my usual walk around the cemeteries, the ball park and around town.
Made a stop at the library to drop off a DVD.
John and Prim were out walking and
a walker around the ball park.
I've seen her a couple of other times too but don't know her name yet.
A couple fisherman at the pond.
Some pictures I took along my way.
Sunrise is 6:11
I'm liking these light mornings.
🌥 🙂 🌷
Got another load of laundry out on the line.
Made some potato salad for supper tonight.
Then I sat down and finished reading my latest book.
Famous Last Words by
Gillian McAllister
A sentence from the back of the book reads,
A new mother's world is upended when her husband commits a terrifying crime.
It was a page turner for me.
I looked out of the window and saw that it was raining and my
clothes were still out on the line.
So I had to bring in wet clothes and hang them on the drying rack!
Took a gamble and didn't win today.
Thanks to those who corrected me on the bird yesterday
telling me it was an Oriole.
Today it was on the front porch looking in.
Wasn't that nice out this afternoon so I ended up staying inside.
Just puttered about.
That's going to be it for today.
Hope you enjoyed your Tuesday.
Thanks for popping in.
🙂HappyK❤️

Tom - Yes, the long barn does have some kind of curtains for bad weather days.

You've made a new feathered friend! He must want to be famous in Blogland.
Your photos are lovely, and your potato salad sounds great. Getting laundry done is always great!
...an oriole, I haven't seen one in years. Thanks for reminding me how beautiful they are.
A beautiful oriole!
My daughter claims to have heard an oriole recently but hasn't seen it yet. We may have spotted its next from last year at the top of a tree but don't know if they reuse the same nest.
Oh I love orioles. We only see them in May though. Then they're gone.
What a sweet little bird. I don’t believe we have an orioles in my neck of the woods.
BTW - my short-lived blogging hiatus bit the dust so I’m back.
Your oriole is a very handsome bird. I know they are found in this area but not often in town I guess. Not even by the lake.
I forgot to say that I looked up that book on our library's site. 64 holds on 32 books. I guess I'll wait until it's not so new anymore.
That oriole is gorgeous! My Merlin birding app keeps picking up one in my backyard, but I haven't spotted him yet. I have never seen one in person.
Hi Karen. What a pretty little bird that is keeping you company these days. I'm going to have to look that book up. It sounds very interesting! Have a good Wednesday. See you then!
Beautiful landscapes and I love the Oriole.
Take care, enjoy your day!
How nice that the bird came back for another visit.
Beautiful skies and the oriole is wonderful to see.
Those skies are lovely.
Nice to see the oriole too.
All the best Jan
