Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Outside on a sunny morn

A mix of sun and clouds this morning, calm and 48 degrees
which was great walking weather.
A couple of deer crossed the road in front of me on my way to town.

First walked around one of the cemeteries.
Then down the road towards home and back.
Around the second cemetery.
Up and down side streets.

Kermit has removed the concrete steps and I guess the stoop
will be next to go.
Wonder what will happen to the door.
Maybe he's going to build an addition of a sun room/porch.

Across the street this house is getting some work done.
At one time is was painted purple.
The work is slow going but it will look so much better when done.
Nice to see the main street in town looking nicer.

This little spring flower has worked so hard to bloom I thought
it deserved a photo!

Just me out walking early this morning.

Here's this Fridays Engraved Gravestone.

🙂    🌤    🌷

Made us French toast for breakfast.
Did a couple loads of laundry and hung them out to dry.

Sunny and temperature in the 70's so it was too nice to stay
inside, so we went out to get some work done around Happy Trails.
Ken with the chain saw cutting up some trees that had fallen down.
I raked the 🍂 🍁 away from the house unto a tarp and then
dragged them to another part of the property.
Made quite a few trips.
Also collected some more stones and added them to the dry run out front.
We worked outside till lunch time.

This afternoon did a couple of house chores and then it was
porch sitting time.

Today I get to knit on the temperature blanket using a brand new color.
Cannery Yellow. 🙂

It's Friday so homemade pizza day!!🍕

Hope your Friday was sunny and bright.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
🙂HappyK❤️

It has been a beautiful day here, too. Your flower looks like a Grape Hyacinth. I hope you have a lovely Easter weekend!

The resilience of plants amazes me. To grow even under conditions that leave little room for growth. It's inspiring.

That flower is a grape hyacinth. I have them here if they ever bloom. Too darn cold yet. Janice

Wow! That's a lot of work on that gravestone. $$$. Love the little flower that bloomed. You worked hard on your property. It's nice to get outside to do Spring work. Main street is shaping up nicely!
