Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunday

Happy Sunday

Stillman Martin was a well-known evangelist in the beginning of the 20th century.
His wife Civilla wrote hymns for him for his ministry.
He thought about not going to one of his revival meetings one day
because his wife, Civilla was very sick.

Their young son said to them,
Father, don't you think that if God wants you to preach today,
He will take care of mother while you're away?

Stillman went to the meeting.
When he got home his wife was much improved
and had written the words to this hymn.

🎶God Will Take Care of You🎶

1. Be not dismayed whate’er betide,
God will take care of you;
Beneath his wings of love abide,
God will take care of you.

Refrain:

God will take care of you,
through ev'ry day, o’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.

2. Through days of toil when heart doth fail,
God will take care of you;
When dangers fierce your path assail,
God will take care of you.

3. No matter what may be the test,
God will take care of you;
Lean, weary one, upon his breast,
God will take care of you.

📖I Peter 5:7📖
Casting all your care upon Him:
for He careth for you.

A Blessed Sunday to all.

I like the story and the song, faith in God and trusting Him. I posted recently about another great missionary to China, Hudson Taylor, in 1854 he began his preaching there.
