Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Pasta in the microwave

Left about a half hour later than usual this morning.
It was raining when I got up and was supposed to stop so waited until it did.
When I walked it was just cloudy and 55 degrees.

Walked down the main road in town and the side streets.
Made my way over to the DG Market.
Was going to turn around there in the parking lot but ended up
walking around the industrial park.

On the way back I went around the ball park loop and then
back to the Jeep.

The man I talked to the other day demolishing the house was
securing his excavator on the trailer and we talked again.
I was telling him how I enjoyed watching him demolish the house
and that I watch a YouTube channel where a man tears down houses.
He asked who I watched and told him Home Wrecker.
He said he would check it out.

Took the picture of him leaving.

No one else out walking but there were a few fishermen
around the pond.

☁️    🙂    ☁️

A new house cleaning week begins again today and got going
with that in the morning.

Afternoon was a raining one so a good time for doing fun stuff.
Reading
Knitting
 Puzzling.

We had rigatoni and sauce for supper.
Read that you could cook pasta in the microwave so we tried it.
In a large microwave bowl put in 1 1/2 cups of water for each cup of pasta.
We did 2 cups pasta and 3 cups water.
Cook on high for 10 minutes.
We had to do 15 minutes, I guess because we did 2 cups.
It turned out just the same as if we boiled it in water on the stove.
Doesn't really save much time though so we will probably go back
to the stove way.
I think it would be good for one person.

Hope all is well in your world on this last day of March.
Thanks for stopping by.

Lots of rain here today then stopped and temps rose to 55º as well. Now it looks like rain again.

All the best Jan

Thanks for the pasta info. I have not tried it, but thought it would not save much time. And I was right. Love those cute frilly flowers!

I always cook our pasta in the microwave, have never done it on the stove top. And I've been washing the cupboard doors down this morning. Now to think about lunch 😄

I like seeing those farm wagons, my Dad had some on our farm when I was a kid.
Isn't it good to see those Spring flowers?

Thanks for that tip about doing pasta in the microwave. I would never have thought to do that. You know that now I will have to give it a go. 😀

I never even thought about microwave pasta before but I’ll just stick to boiling it on the stove. The flowers are pretty

Hello
Love the pretty flowers. We had a thunderstorm last night.
It is colder and windy here this morning.
Take care, enjoy your day!

Now I won't have to try cooking pasta in the microwave seeing as it takes just as long as on the stove. We had pasta last night and during the last 5 or 6 minutes I was checking how done it was. That would be more bother opening & shutting the microwave.
Light rain here too when we walked. Not enough to warrant opening my umbrella.
