Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Cold again

I was back to wearing all my layers this morning.
Cloudy, 26 degrees, windy, with a dusting of snow.
Sunrise 7:18
Morning Walk Steps 11,089

Walked around town, the ball park loop, and both of the cemeteries.

No one else out walking that I saw.

Noticed these daffodils buds popping out of the ground.
Glad the snow won't hurt them.

The sidewalk in front of the church was dug up awhile ago
because of a town water problem.
Today the concrete truck was there pouring the new sidewalk.

Clouds were moving away and the sun was shining by the time
I got back home.

🙂    ☁️     🥾

I finished up the other knitted mini basket.
This one is round and smaller.
I put the pink peep in it that Sally from the needlework group at the
library crocheted for me.
Pink Peep fits in the basket perfectly.

I made some Saltine Cracker Toffee this morning.
I've been meaning to make some and bring it to the ladies at the
library on Saturdays for a while now.
I'll bring it tomorrow.
Kept some at home too because Ken likes it.

David and Liz came over lunch time and brought a new game over
for us to play called
Ransom Notes
Had a lot of fun and laughed a lot.

That's it for today.
Thanks for stopping by and
hope your Friday was enjoyable.
🙂HappyK❤️

It was cold and frosty here this morning when Calvin and I went walking. No snow for us and I hope that is over! That game sounds like a good one.

That game looks really fun! I am going to look that one up and maybe get it! I love your little knitted Easter baskets. So cute! We are back to being cold again too, but we are hoping for a warm up next week! See you again soon.

Today turned out nicer than I thought it would. I had heard rain but it was up to 50 and sunny.
Love those little baskets, so cute.

Pink Peep looks so cute in that basket - like it was made just for her!
I haven't made cracker toffee in a long time, it's good!
The game looks like fun.
Another good verse to share and think on.

I’ve sure missed out. Never heard or had saltine cracker toffee. I must try it and bring it to church! Those peeps and those baskets are too cute. Now that sounds like a fun game. My daughter-in-law loves to play games!
I have found that daffodils are very hardy.
Our weather seems constipated. We’re stuck in the 50’s!

Spring weather is sometimes unpredictable. It's a chilly day for us and raining but is supposed to warm up later. The game sounds interesting.

The newest little basket is just as sweet as the first one.
I have made that Saltine Toffee at Christmas. Everyone loves it.
Daffodils growing and budding right in the snow!!
