Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Mini Basket

This morning when I walked it was cloudy and 50 degrees
with just a slight breeze.

Walked around town under the street lights till it got light.
Then I went around the ball park loop
and both of the cemeteries.

Another shot of the geese by the pond.

Nice to see Rebecca out walking Leo this morning.
Saw them two times, once around each of the cemeteries.

The town has acquired the house that is being demolished.
They've been trying to get the owner (who doesn't live around here)
to do something for a long time with the house.
It's been in the court system for quite a while, guess it was settled
and now the town owns it.
Don't know what the plans are for the property.

Baked a couple of English Muffin Loaves.
I'm sure that will be breakfast tomorrow!

We worked on the taxes for a while this morning.
We have to take it in short doses.
But at least we got a good start on it.
Will probably finish them tomorrow.

Made a trip into town and went to the library.
Had a book awaiting there for me to pick up.
Have 2 others but they haven't arrived yet.
Also got a couple of DVD's.

Finished the mini Easter egg basket I found the knitting pattern to.
I'm pleased with how it turned out.
So cute.
3 eggs fit it in.

I've started on the other basket which is smaller and round.
Should finish it later.

Hope you had an enjoyable Thursday.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Your Easter basket is adorable! I love the lavender color as well. I think it could also be used at times that are not Easter.

That sky in the first picture is so pretty!
When I got up this morning it was cold but there was no snow. I went downstairs to walk on the treadmill and when I came up it had been snowing so hard that the ground was covered!
Thankfully it's melted again now.
The basket is so cute!

Would be interesting to see what the town decides to do with that property.
That little basket is so cute. I can't knit but maybe I'll look for a crochet pattern and see if I can remember how to do that.
