Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A drive to Bedford

A bit of a surprise, we had a little snow over night.
26 degrees and cloudy at first and even a few left over snow flurries
but that soon passed and the sun came out.

It was a little icy in spots so walking was a little limited of where I could go.

Walked around town and went to the library again to drop a couple
more DVD's down the book drop.

The lower cemetery was a good place to walk so went around
there a couple of times.

The house that came down yesterday is still there in a big pile
but now covered in snow.
Maybe today it will all be carted away.

🙂    ☁️    ⛄️    🌤

I made us pancakes for breakfast and soon after we left
for Bedford with the trailer loaded with the Romans books.
We had a good trip there and had help unloading the trailer
and loading it up again for the return trip.
We also picked up a couple hundred New Testament Bibles.
Someone is starting another ministry and will be handing out free Bibles.

On the way back we usually stop at Wendy's for Spicy Chicken Sandwiches
and we did that again.

Drove right to church with the load and dropped off the trailer.
Didn't unload because that happens when we do Fingerprints.
Then there are lots of help unloading them. 🙂

That took up most of the day and I read when we got home
till it was time for supper.
Since we ate at Wendy's we just had sandwiches for supper.

That's it for this day.
Happy Wednesday and hope yours was a great one.

I believe you had more snow than we did. It turned out to be a nice day though. Glad you had a sa.fe trip to Bedford and back.

Snow we had Monday has all melted with the sunshine today. More in the forecast though.

Hi Karen. Pretty pictures of the snow in this post. Sounds like you were pretty busy today. That is nice that a ministry is giving out New Testaments. I hope the sun returns soon and the snow melts quickly! See you again tomorrow!

The first two photos are my favorite. Snow seems to make everything new again.

Amazing how a light snowfall can create a winter wonderland overnight.

Maybe we aren’t quite as excited about snow as we were a few months ago, but your snow made for some pretty pictures. We were near 80 today.

As much as I dislike the snow and especially this time of year, it does look pretty in your pictures. Hopefully this will be the end of it until next winter.

Just read Ruth this week in my Bible reading. What a surprise to get dusted by snow again. Glad you made it there and back safely!

What a mess taking down an old house like that!
